Bristol to Margaret Cho: Here's a Gay Joke ...

12/6/2010 9:15 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Someone needs to keep the Palin girls off Facebook -- this time it's Bristol posting an open letter to her "Dancing With the Stars" co-star Margaret Cho ... and making a gay "joke" at Margaret's expense.

1205_bristol_palin_margaret_cho_TMZ_GETTY_REG2
Bristol responded to a blog Cho wrote this week that suggested Sarah Palin made Bristol do "DWTS" -- and that Sarah "harshly and openly" blames Bristol for costing her the election.

In Bristol's new post, which she wrote last night, she made her point in a few decently-worded paragraphs, but then decided to end things by saying that if Margaret understood conservative politics better, she "would embrace us faster than KD Lang at an Indigo Girls concert."

Reading between the lines ... KD Lang = lesbian. Indigo Girls = lesbian. Cho is openly bisexual.

But Bristol did say she's willing to let Cho babysit Tripp, so there's that.

If you can't call an asian lesbian a sushi eater what can you call her? Obviously not late for dinner. Cho could survive a few winters in alaska living off her own blubber.

Geez here we go again. Me thinks Princess Palin doth protest too loudly. Margaret Cho's bi-sexuality isn't a secret so if Princess Palin thinks that she's outing her...wrong. So I'm guessing the story Margaret told was true then?

All I can say is, keep handing them a microphone, the more they talk, the quicker they'll talk their way into oblivion.
I just cannot take them seriously. Idiots!

The whole US has become so worried about offending anyone's race, religion, sexual preference, etc., that we've lost the freedom to have an opinion.

I am so grateful for the Palin family. They make my trailer living uncle in Lubbock sound like the Dalai Lama.

If Cho can dish it out, she sure as hell better be able to take it.

Going after comedians is a really bad idea, esp. feminist comedians. Kathy Griffin already has a lot of dirt on her, without a doubt. All she has to do is call her boytoy Levi for some good material to use in the next TV special.

Dennis Miller is going to have to have a talk with that girl and write her better lines... but then it's going to be full of Milleresque obscure references.

That line sounds like something that came from a PR agent, or from Sarah herself... I mean...Indigo Girls? KD Lang?? That's Sarah's era.

Daughters of politicians have little clue about what their parents do, they just enjoy the perks.

I kind of doubt Bristol wrote that - she's not exactly a bright bulb - but I bet she/mama approved it.

I think the title of Bristol's letter is very interesting: "Cha-Cha-Cha to Cho-Cho-Cho: Here's a Hint Three Dog Night."

I really think the title is a cheap racial joke. You know how when idiots mock how Asian people speak? The title makes little sense with that syntax. She just wanted to say Cha-Cha-Cha-Cho-Cho-Cho like others would mock Asian language by saying ching-ching-ching.

She's definitely making fun of her culture. And then 3-Dog night ...was used to remind people of the myth that Asian people eat dogs. Also, since Margaret was the 3rd person kicked off Dancing with the Stars and essentially had 3 nights of competition, the 3-dog-night joke is also meant to call her a dog. Bristol is being really vicious her while pretending to be sweet.

She can pretend the title is about dancing and music, but it's a subtle jab at Cho's ethnicitiy.

And yes, even if Cho, is a lesbian, the KDlang comment was also a jab to mock her sexual orientation.

I think it's hilarious to imagine that McCain and Palin would know better how to improve this tough economy.

Even funnier is the ton of fanatical Bristol followers on Facebook calling her brilliant.

I like the way liberal A Holes preach love and peace yet relentlessly and savagely attach a hole family including young children because of one family members political beliefs

Oh, please. If you think that's "homophobic" you have serious issues. TMZ is just bent on making sure Bristol doesn't give them anymore exclusive statements.

This is NOT a homophobic remark, those that say it is just don't like the Palin's. Had anyone else said this the voting and comments would be very different. I simply can't understand why people hate this family so much, so they dislike them, but the things coming out of their mouth is just not acceptable.
