Was Mr. Edwards supposed to receive anything from her? The kids are usually the receipients of
the property of a parent on their death, not the spouse who deserted his wife for a floozy.

It states that the guardian of any minor children gets the estate portion for any of the minor children, which means, JOHN gets it too, just for the children. He could pay his rent with it, since it is for the children.

Ou go GIrl!!! YOu were smart enough to provide for your children. At the very least, her hard earned money will not go to pay the child support which is in the $1000.00 of dollars for the child he fathered while he was married and already had a perfect family. She was protecting her children.
