So some of you are commenting that Whoopi was left out because of her race? It was a list of BLACK actresses who had won Oscars. The stupidity of claiming her exclusion was because of race is blinding.

Fact check yourself, Whoopi. It was 50 years between the time Hattie McDaniel won her Oscar and you won yours - not 70.

Hey Whoopi - maybe if you weren't such a self-righteous douchebag, people would actually care about you or what you think.

Most of these posters are outright insane if you think Whoopi isn't one of the most talented people in the industry. She's one of VERY FEW people that have the distinguished EGOT--meaning, she's won an EMMY, GRAMMY, OSCAR and TONY.

The article in question was about black oscar winners--how could the author leave Whoopi out? It really doesn't make any sense and you don't have to be a fan of her work to realize there is something wrong with that.

I don't blame her for being angry about it.

What happened to her? She used to be funny. Ever since she's been on the View, seems that all her happiness has been sucked out of her. Always seems so angry. It's off putting.

I have to agree with her... it is an amazing accomplishment! She won it, she deserves to be recognized! BTW, another person that was not mentioned was Cuba Gooding Jr. for his win in Jerry Maguire.
