Rep. Weiner

Used Congressional Gym As Backdrop

6/13/2011 4:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Rep. Anthony Weiner took numerous photos of himself -- clothed and partially nude -- at the House Members Gym and sent them to at least one woman ... raising questions about whether he used Congressional resources in his online exploits.

0611_weiner_launch_ex_2
TMZ obtained the pics Weiner took of himself using his Blackberry and a mirror. Congressional sources have confirmed with TMZ ... the backdrop is indeed the House Members Gym in the basement of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The pics were taken on both the gym floor and in the locker room.

TMZ has confirmed the pics were sent online to at least one woman.

The question that's dogged Weiner since his news conference/mea culpa is -- did he use Congressional resources during his cyber affairs?

So we gotta ask ...

i don't care what he does with his wiener as long as it doesn't involve children or pets. But I am a little pissed that my tax dollars are paying for a "congressional gym?"

WTF???

Isn't it wonderful that we tax payers provide the gym, the equipment, and probaly the cell phone Wiener can use to fulfill his perversion. The man is a fruitcake and shouldn't lead a line to the toilet.

I didn't know much about him until the scandal. If I had seen these photos captionless on the internet I'd have thunk, "oh, someone in 'guys with iphones'". What narcissism. But to be fair, he does look pretty good for a politician.

I dont really understand democrats or republicans who gang up on each other when theres's a sex scandal. I get why they might have done this many years ago...right after the Clinton/Newt era. We were all so shell shocked by the spectacle of Clinton and the outing of Newt that we were trying to one up each other. But at this point, isnt it clearly obvious that cheating, porn, seeing prostitutes has nothing to do with what political party you are affiliated with????

I had a friend who lives in virginia - I live in a city. She used to tell me that her husband would never cheat becasue they are from a smaller suburban area and the value system is different out there. I would just yes her to death. Well lo and behold....her doctor husband was banging someone at the hospital. Someones station in life or political affiliaton does not mean that they are not going to do wrong, riduculous, stupid, sinful things that are unfortunately human. I'm just happy i have not fallen prey to these things, nor made these dumb decisions and neither has my spouse....at least I don't think so.....

Funny how the democrats looked the other way when Clinton got it off in the white house, Kerry cheated on his wife, Ted took that woman swimming for enternity, and his brothers partied down. Now they pretend to have fake morals. But then again, the democrats are a lying, deceiving bunch of hypocrites.

So now the poor little pencil-neck is going to rehab?

For what? Being a hypocritical mororn? Is that treatable?

Does that mean that the when next Republican screws up like this (and they absolutely will), do they get the therapy option? Or is that just reserved for relativist progressives?

BTW-Does he get to keep his Congressional seat? Meanwhile, what about the duties he was elected to do while he's being "rehabilitated"? Too bad for his constituents, huh?

Who cares about the sex lives of politicians anyhow? Only in America. No one has ever claimed, let alone proved, that an individual's sexual proclivities has any relation to their ability to govern. This only demonstrates that Americans have been groomed to be titillated at prurient interests. As long as he didn't use his position to coerce someone into something they didn't want, it's no one's business but his and his wife's. He took pictures of himself because he wanted to appear sexy to someone other than his wife... geeshhhh, what rock are people living under to think that's a "sickness"? It's called DUMB. Woman dress provocatively all the time, and display that image to a viewing public on a consistent basis... but i*****uy does it, in private, it's a sickness? Or is it a sickness only because he is married?

While I find Weiner to be a disgusting "human being", he is doing what hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of single And married people are doing right now. Instant gratification trumps consequences. People feel invincible in this technological, out-of-control sexual age.

In fact, there's a high likelihood that your partner is sexting and posting dirty little pics of themselves, right now!

Well thats the other part of this story. Weener isn't worth a sh*t as congresswoman. He's stupid and worthless and wasn't doing anything worth a crap for the Dems. So not only is he a greasy little perv...he is/was completely stupid and worthless at his gig with the government. Basically...the taxpayers have been paying the little creep $175K a year to jack off and send out photos of him playing with himself to teenagers from his office building. He's lucky he's not in jail where he have plenty of inmates that would be happy fool around with his crotch and scrotum.

NotSurprised

I can't tell you how many guys are using the internet to cross the line. The only difference is that the powerful get caught by the world and the ordinary guy either doesn't get caught or gets caught by his girlfriend/wife/partner. As a famous male comedian once said, Your man is dirtier than you could ever imagine. I believe this. I know there must be exceptions, but I believe that the only man who has not cheated (and yes, the internet counts) is the one who hasn't been caught yet. My heart goes out to his wife.

It makes me feel bad for Bawbwa Walters. She defended him from the beginning much as liberals tend to do.

1. It wasn't him. This was some kind of prank.

2. Okay it was him, but these were probably pics for his wife and someone hacked his account and posted this as a prank.

3. Okay they weren't for his wife, but this was done in his private life and doesn't effect his job.

Soooooooooo

now that we KNOW he was doing this at work (or at least in the congressional gym) and it is suspected he offered the services of congressional PR staff to help cover it up... I wonder how Babs and other libs will defend him now.

I especially love how the moron voters, who would call for a republican under the same situation to be tarred and feathered, overwhelmingly seem to say "eh, no big. I'd vote for him again."
