Billy Ray Cyrus: Good Genes or Good Haircut?

7/17/2011 5:30 AM PDT BY Johnny Lopez

Billy Ray Cyrus' mullet is the only thing that appears to have gotten old.

Here's the 31-year-old achy breaky singer back in 1993 (left) -- and 18 years later, the 49-year-old at an event earlier this month (right).

You'd think being Miley Cyrus' dad would age a fella.

TMZ, stick to the "good genes / good docs" choice. This one doesn't really make sense.

Listen 59% of the people (at this moment) who think it's "good genes": you are so used to seeing celebs who have been "touched up" that to you it's become the norm and you can't tell that he has had work done and, at the very least, he's had facial fillers and/or Botox.

R is right. Look at his forehead and crowsfeet areas (as well as overall cheek). He had more wrinkles at 31 than 49.

Ms. Evermore

I've never really been a fan of country music and really never paid much attention to Billy Ray Cyrus, other than thinking he has always been a very attractive man. But the other night, while driving home late from work, I listened to his Piers Morgan interview on CNN-Sirius Radio. I found him to be quite incredible, even adorable and so endearing. His understand of life and what he draws from his own personal experiences are amazingly beautiful. So now I can say, by that heartfelt interview, Mr. Cyrus is as beautiful on the inside as he has been on the outside. He is genuine article, a blue as the sky and your favorite pair of levis.
If you ever have a chance - listen to that amazing interview on Piers Morgan online. I'm sure it is available.

I'd say it's more than a haircut. His eyebrows sit higher than they did when he was younger. That doesn't happen naturally. Only a good old skin pulling does that.

NEITHER! He's a grown-man. He needs to shave and get a real MAN's haircut.

I've met/talked with BRC several times in person. [lived/worked in Nashville]. He's very handsome, polite and personable. Super nice!
