If you become an alcohol and drug addict in your teens, 27 is about the average age that you will last.

Well I don't think she belongs in the 27 club with the likes of the others that are in it. It's sad she's gone and could not become a great like the others. She did have the voice for it.

She is 27. She is a vocalist. But I really do not see how she can compare to Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, or Kurt Cobain.

She could have been more but she just did not hit the same mark as those of the 27 Club.

"Cursed"? What a misleading and inaccurate description of what happened to these musicians... As to imply that their drug-addled deaths were somehow fated... They all died from years of poor decisions and rampant substance abuse, which takes it's toll on a young person and quite predictably so IMO...

IN MY OPINION

So, does that mean that if you make it pass 27 you're exempt?NOT...there have been many more over 27 who have OD'ed.

I really wish the young stars in Hollywood and the young stars in the music business learned a lesson from this kind of tradegy.

Amy Whinehouse probably wanted to be iconic like all the greats, like Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix.

Morrison and Hendrix were great talents first, horrible addicts second. Not true for Amy. Just a big, big addict with some talent.

Dear friends,

George W. Bush tried to make Wine - house go to rehab,
but Wine - house said: no, No, NO!
Yes, Wine - house has been Black,
but when she comes back,
USA will know, Know, KNOW!

Wine - house does Not got the time(to go to Rehab) and
if Barack H. Obama thinks Wine - house is fine…
George W. Bush tried to make Wine - house go to rehab,
but Wine - house will Not go, Go GO!

President Barack H. Obama must Not Tell, Not Show,
But ASSURE US THAT
THERE ARE NO DRUGS AND GUN TRAFFICKING AT OUR BORDERS,
because We All are Paying:

Customs and Border Protection,

Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force

Conclusion:
The Total Amount We All are Paying is 11, 559 Millions of Dollars for
Stopping Cocaine and Gun Trafficking at our Borders,
While We All Have a Budget Deficit of 1,267 BILLIONS of Dollars!

Advise:
Stay Healthy at the Borders and Save Our Budget Deficit!

Jinxed? Probably planned it so people would include her along with the other junkie singers who killed themselves at an early age. Amy was out of the spotlight too much due to her addictions.
Why do people memorialize junkies?
