It's obvious Maria knew about the love child long before it became public knowledge. I think it shows great strength and character that she was able to maintain while Arnold was in office. California did not need the scandal at the time. It would have served no purpose. His affair had nothing to do with his job. It shows even more strength and character for Maria to keep things amicable between them. They still have minor children and their sense of family and security is way more important that an ugly public fight. Divorcing couples with young children should pay attention to the example Arnold and Maria are setting considering the cir****tances.

I have a feeling there will be a Maria and Arnold reconciliation at some point in the future. Hopefully, they will be on the same page if it does happen.
