The mystery buyer looking to purchase Kim Kardashian's sex tape needs to muster up at least $30 million if they want a CHANCE at taking it off the market ... TMZ has learned.
We spoke with Vivid Entertainment top banana Steve Hirsch ... who tells us he HAS made contact with the lawyer who's representing the mystery party interested in buying the rights to the sex tape ... and he's open to the possibility of a deal.
Hirsch tells us ... "Based on its long term value, it looks like $30 million would be a starting point for a discussion on all of the rights."
Hirsch adds, "I have no idea who is behind this offer ... but If it's Kim, I have a
tremendous amount of respect for her. She has my number and can call me
any time."

If it is Kim she is wasting her money, unless there is some stuff that didn't make the DVD and is under Hirsch's control. Either way, the rip of that DVD is in about 1 million different places on the net, newsgroups, warez sites, torrents etc. Just like all the other porn on the internet.
I'm sure she knows she can never really get rid of the tape. Once it's out there, it's out there forever. She probably just wants to make sure the cut footage of Ray J peeing on her never sees the light of day. I'm guessing she wants her hubby to think he's the only one to ever urinate on her.

Kim gets married and on the day after she is married and the days to follow all over the Internet and on TMZ is about the tape and how so many people from Italy to the US is watching this tape again. Millions of people have probably already have seen Kim's video, why bother paying a fortune to get all copies back? It was an extremely stupid mistake on Kim's part, or anyone taping themselves having sex, eventually, it's going to get out, especially if your a celebrity. That tape is a real cloud over her marriage to Kris Humphries. Embarrassing is an understatement.
