Ice-T and Coco have no known disabilities -- but their bulldog Spartacus was given the "service dog" treatment at LAX airport. Hmmm ... so what kinda service does ole Sparty provide anyway?

How dare they make a mockery of the use of a service dog....they should be ashamed of themselves.

Bulldogs cannot fly in the cargo hold of a plane. They are brachycephalic dogs, and most airlines consider them too risky to fly as cargo.

Service dogs are used for emotional problems as well as physical. You can't always see why a person needs a service dog. I doubt Ice Tea and Coco are big enough celebs to by pass the rules.

Some celebrities are given the option to buy a seat for their dogs. I doubt they claimed it was a SD; most likely they have ESA (emotional support animal) paperwork which allows them to fly it in cabin. I doubt either meets the requirements for an ESA, but the rub is that all it takes is a doctor's note.

I'm paired with a real Service Dog; the sheer amount of people getting notes for ESA's is a HUGE PITA for those of us with real SDs. I understand that Brachy breeds don't fly well as checked baggage or cargo, but no one wants one of those drooly gas-bags in the cabin either.

On October 17,2000, a 300 pound hog flew in first class on U.S Airways from Philadelphia to Seattle because the owner told TSA officials it was a service animal. It reportedly ran loose through the aircraft, squealing loudly, and even tried to enter the ****pit. “Many people on board the aircraft were quite upset that there was a large uncontrollable pig on board, especially those in the first-class cabin."

Now, I'm not sure if this true story is similar in nature to Coco and Spartacus, but I can't see where Spartacus would pose any problem .

They may be training a service dog. People who train then have them for a year and take them everywhere

These are two of the most disgusting people on earth. Sympathies to the dog, and to the people who actually need and use a service dog.
