The Game

Closeted Gays Spread AIDS

9/8/2011 10:56 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

090811_thegame_video2Rapper The Game believes closeted gay men are spreading AIDS by "fooling" women into having sex with them.

Game just gave an interview to VLADTV -- saying he doesn't have a problem with most gay people -- just the ones who are "pretending" not to be gay and sleeping with women.

Game says, "The #1 issue with that is you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die ... and that s**t spreads because that girl you might be fooling might leave you and go find another dude who ain't gay and give him the disease."

Game seems to be saying that all closeted gay men have AIDS ... and he wants them to come out of the closet in a Scarlet Letter sort of a way -- so people know to avoid them unless they want to get AIDS.

whether you like this guy or not, isn't the issue. What he is saying is ! And he is right, like it or not. Many men do spread AIDS because they are ashamed to admit they are gay, so they have sex with women and they do spread AIDS, to unsuspecting women and then they spread to others. Your all so caught up in protecting the gays, why. Don't you care about the fact they do spread aids. And in Africa where the Aids is so prevalent, is because men have sex with both men and women and spread Aids all over the place. And it's the truth.

I agree with The Game because I don't believe that he's trying to say that all gay men have AIDS because that can't be further from the truth. However, I've read many memoirs and journal pieces which have all agreed that down low men are less likely to use protection than those who are open about their sexuality. These men (according to what I've read) believe that by going the extra step of using protection that they are admitting to themselves that they are gay, which a lot of them believe that they are not regardless of the fact that they have sex with males. AIDS also disproportionately affects gay males as well, so having sex without protection nor being tested for AIDS has an affect on all partners. His message should probably be encouraging people to know their status, use protection, and being totally honest with all partners about their sexual history. The more we know, the less likely people are to spread this preventable disease!

So, basically by making homophobic statements, he's setting up his excuse for how he got AIDS for when the facts are leaked to the press. "See, I didn't get it by spreading for a dude, it was one of them there women sleeping with them there closeted gay dudes." Listen, Game, there's nothing wrong with being gay. Just embrace the rainbow and admit how much you love the ****.

These socially relevant stories really bring out all the middle of the country inbreds.

The person who wrote this article must be pressed. He said that the closeted gay rappers need to come clean because they are lying to the women they are sleeping with and could be causing the spread of aids. He has a point!

Actually, there was an entire article on this in a 1986 issue of Rolling Stone. Men who were afraid to leave the closet, got married, had kids, yet still went trolling for men on their lunch hours from work. Their wives never knew. Rolling Stone interviewed dozens of them. I went to grad school with one here in sunny So. Cal. He was HIV positive, had gay lovers, but still dated women. He never told them about his HIV positive status. We argued about the moral implications of it continually. I finally gave up and cut all ties to him. The notion of "honesty" just wasn't in his play book.

I believe he's talking about what is referred to as the 'down low'. Google it and you'll see that even though his message is crudely delivered, it is timely. I don't even like the guy, but I understand what he's saying. No need to shoot the messenger.

He is talking about men on the "DL." this is a huge issue in the african american community which is why the rise in HIV infection in black women is so high. In the black community, it is extremely frowned upon to be gay so guys have wives/girlfriends/etc. AND have sex with men...oftentimes, unprotected sex with men on the "outskirts" of society so that they are sure they sex partners and mates will never meet. Anyone who is familiar with the African American community today knows that The Game is speaking the truth!

You have to be fair. When he's right, he's right. Gays are notoriously irresponsible.

Did I get what that clown said right?, people should be sleeping with either sexes but not both?. What about bisexual men and women. I think it is everyone's responsibility to protect him/herself and ask their sex partners to put a condom on before requiring their casual sex partners to protect them.
