Scarlett Johansson

I'm Putting My Foot Down

Over Nude Pics

9/29/2011 6:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Scarlett Johansson is speaking out about the double-edged sword of fame -- claiming she's just as entitled to privacy as anyone else ... after nude pics of the actress leaked online earlier this month.

In a CNN interview ... Scarlett says,  "Who doesn't want to protect their own privacy? There are certain instances where you give a lot of yourself and finally you have to kind of put your foot down and say, 'Oh wait, I'm taking it back.' "

Scarlett -- who asked the FBI to track down the alleged hackers -- adds, "If [one's privacy] is sieged in someway, it feels unjust. It feels wrong."

Do you think the FBI would give a **** if you "Common Joe American Public" got your nude pics stolen from your cell phone? Since when is the FBI the security arm of the rich and famous? Total BS!

How in the world did the interviewer maintain a straight face during her self-important diatribe???

Charlie Sheen's Watch

Who the fruck cares about this skank? She is an awful actress and who wants to see her dumb ass nude anyway? Besides, if you don't want nude pics of yourself on the internet then DON'T be snapping nude pictures of yourself. Frucking imbecile.

Get over yourself skank. No one wants to see your pale ass nude pics.

Anyone (famous, infamous or total joe schmo) who takes pics & movies and stupid enough to leave them on a computer deserves what happens to them. Just like b4 digital, don't leave the tape or negatives with anyone else or they show up in a porno movie or mag. In the digital age it ends up on the internet. STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!

Hey Scarlett - my girl is WAYYYYYY hotter than you. Still, she wouldn't be so self-obsessed as to take nude pictures of her own butt with her cellphone. There clearly is some pathology here that you might wanna get checked out before it's too late. See, the point you don't get is that the leak in privacy starts a) with you taking pics of your wrinkly self b) with you being too negligent to protect your data with a strong password - and only then, others might be partially to blame. While the rest of us have a healthy enough body image not to rely on cellphone snapshots. Do us a favor and go back to Africa where nobody will ever give a damn about your behind...

I have a brilliant idea; how about you stop taking nude pictures of yourself and the FBI can then focus on bigger, more pressing issues. Your mistake - live and learn.

She may be entitled to her privacy but, she is not entitled to command the FBI to fight her fight for her. None of us regular folks would have that opportunity nor even the idea to call the FBI. I personally, would look at myself for having pictures like that on my phone. In today's world nothing is out of reach--phones, computers, internet, etc.

If ScarJo wasn't a celebrity, noone would care to see her hacked nudes and because she is a celebrity, the FBI is investigation this. When was the last time law enforcement spent so much in time investigating a commoner's hacked cell phone?

actually, as a public person/celebrity you are NOT entitled to the same privacy rights as a private person so get over that. second -- why are you so absolutely dumb that you took nude photos of yourself and left them on your phone? last but not least -- i don't get how your phone was "hacked." the photos were on a mobile device. was someone in possession of your phone? otherwise how could someone hack in to your files stored in your phone from another location. did you upload them to your computer? still how did it happen. that would be hacking your computer. this reeks of publicity stunt.

Its instances like this that make me wonder why? Why on earth would you take naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone? Or make a sex tape? I mean at this point, because you are a celeb, you are just inviting people in to hack your phone or steal the tape. You bring the embarrassment on to yourself, and no one feels sorry for you. Just DON'T make tapes or take pics of yourself and people will leave you alone. Its just common sense. I don't feel sorry for this girl, she knew what would happen if she took those photos, end of story, so stop making people feel sorry for you and get on with your life.

If you want to keep your privacy and don't want naked pictures of yourself going public, here's a bright idea: don't take them!! If you must take them, then don't use a friggin' cell phone, which we've all learned can easily be hacked. I think the FBI has much better things to do with it's time.

Honey, you are really not that important and those pics are really nothing to get upset about. You may have been voted one of the sexist women alive at one time, but those pics still show your doofy face.

I'd rather she put her feet up.

These mindless people who become famous because of their physical appearance, not because they're talented, beg the paparazzi to photograph them. Then when they become famous they want their privacy?!?!? Get over yourself. If the paps stop paying attention and don't care to photograph you anymore, you'd have a nervous breakdown.
