Classic 'Pawn Stars' Chevy

Returned to Cherry State

... Within Hours

10/3/2011 4:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Knowing a good mechanic is the key -- the guys from "Pawn Stars" proved that Friday when their incinerated classic '57 Chevy was fixed within hours and returned in tip top shape.

Immediately after the fire was extinguished, the car was sent to show regular The Count from Count Customs, who replaced the tires and steering wheel ... as well as lots of other parts.

The car was a gift to "The Old Man" on "Pawn Stars" from stars of various History Channel shows, including "American Restoration" and "American Pickers."  It caught fire Friday AM.

The repairs cost "the Old Man" around $3,000.

Keep it away from him. Second fatal car fire? I've had 30+ cars, no fires.

You guys made it sound like it was the Towering Inferno. If it was fixed in hours, it sounds like a cigarette burn on the seat.

That car in the picture is not a '57 Chevy...that is a '56 Chevy. Look it up.

Incinerated? And completely fixed within a few hours? Sounds like somebody embellished this story just a little bit? Thought I could trust you guys to be honest in your reporting??

I wouldn't let Danny from counts touch any car. The guy does crap work and scams the pawn guys every time. $70,000 for a car Foose or Barry White(not the singer) could have done for less than half that and it would have looked 10 time better. He did a jeep for them and claimed he "hand made" the windshield brackets and I found them online at a jeep parts supplier.

Didn't "the kount" do the restoration on the 2 vehicles that burned?? Why would anyone let him touch another one?

The car was purchase by his son for his father. Not purchased by the fellas of various history channel shows. Watch the show. American Pickers found the car for Rick (son). American Restoration and The Kount restored the car. Rick purchased this for his father's birthday.

DISH Network has introduced the Tailgater. This is a great way to have a portable party. This will let you have TV at a BBQ or out camping. This is a great deal that will be great for the consumer who likes to be outdoors. This will let you take TV out so you can enjoy your football games or any other sports. I watched pawn stars the other night while I was grilling out at the lake. This works great and I recommend this to all. You can use the fully loaded HD free for life as well.
