Penn State & Nebraska

Joined Together in Prayer

11/12/2011 9:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Penn State and Nebraska's football teams came together at midfield for a pre-game prayer ... led by a Nebraska assistant coach!

The coach, Ron Brown even sported PSU's navy blue -- like most of the crowd of more than 100,000 fans participating in the "Blue Out" ... to support victims of child sex abuse.

Dirtbag 101: Tell everyone to "move forward", "put this behind us" and "pray" for "all involved".

Let me get this right. Nebraska is wearing blue in support of Penn State and Penn State players are wearing white in support Father Joe aka Joe Pa.

...How nice of them to forget about the children who were raped. Arrogant self centered pricks.

Penn State should be kicked out of the NCAA. The players should have quit the team, but like their former coaches, they have no morals.

I HOPE PENN State is found quilt of a cover up on every level of the law and even shut it down. It is a shame that a coach could get away with all the sexual conduct for so long, he should go to jail for life, then be raped by some bigger inmate then see how it feels.

It was a very nice gesture on all parts. Most of u ppl commenting need to get the facts straight. This guy was not a coach any longer at PSU. Let the allegations play out. These boys - NONE OF THEM -had anything to do with it. Let them play football. Good luck to both teams. And hopefully the victims get some healing & peace

These comments are appalling! It's just good that none of you are in any type of leadership psotition. If you were, there would never be any healing. You people really must have miserable lives and only enjoy seeing people fail. The scene before the game was AWESOME!!!! God bless the victims. I am sure they wanted that, and can begin to heal. I am actually proud of TMZ for posting this!

I think it is great that they prayed together beforehand. The players at Penn State did not participate in what the molestation and rape, nor did they participate in the coverup. I know that some people get offended or whatever by prayer, but there is no reason to be so angry about it!
