Conrad Murray

I Want to Commit Suicide

11/15/2011 11:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

dr conrad murray
Dr. Conrad Murray has been telling people who have visited him in jail ... he no longer has the will to live and he wants to kill himself.

We're told Murray cannot cope with the fact that he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, and even though his lawyers told him he needed to be prepared for the possibility of a guilty verdict, it never computed with him.

Sources tell us, Murray has told various people he wanted to kill himself, including baby mama Nicole Alvarez, his bodyguard Jeff and his lawyers.  He's told all of them he's lost his will to live.

We've also learned Murray remains in the medical ward at L.A. County Jail, which is where he's been for more than a week.

Sources directly connected with Murray tell us he has no physical ailments and he is there because he's on suicide watch.

Steve Whitmore, the spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept., tells TMZ they will not comment on why Murray has been in the medical ward, adding, "A person's medical or mental health status in the Los Angeles County Jail is protected under the law."

There is something about this whole trial that left a foul taste in my mouth. I openly admit that Michael Jackson always made my skin crawl. I didn't like his music and I found him: creepy, narcissistic, irresponsible, etc. If Conrad Murray had refused to prescribe the fatal medication, does anyone seriously doubt that Michael Jackson would have got his supply elsewhere? Frankly, he was a patient from hell; to assign any doctor with the task of keeping Jackson on the straight and narrow was like assigning a zoologist as “suicide prevention officer” to a family of lemmings! Nevertheless, millions of deluded fans thought Michael Jackson was “God”. Someone had to be the scapegoat.
Was Conrad Murray blameless? Certainly not. Does Dr Murray therefore deserve to pay with his life for serious errors of judgement? Absolutely not. Is it me, or does this whole sordid episode have historical parallels - the “Profumo Affair” for instance?
i. Profumo, a senior government official, and other debauchees, wallowed in their excesses for years
ii. eventually Profumo got hoisted on his own petard
iii. a suitable scapegoat needed to be found.
iv. Voila! Dr Steven Ward
v. a vengeful judicial system not only destroyed Ward's career but his reputation and eventually his life.

Say it ain't so!

Q: If Conrad Murray had refused to prescribe the fatal medication, does anyone seriously doubt that Michael Jackson would have got his supply elsewhere?
A: Michael was under the care of several doctors for decades...this we all know. yet none of those doctors killed michael jackson. Michael had serval medical ailments....he needed medicine.....just like everyone else with a medical diagnosis.

Q:Frankly, he was a patient from hell; to assign any doctor with the task of keeping Jackson on the straight and narrow was like assigning a zoologist as “suicide prevention officer” to a family of lemmings!
A: You don't know what in hail you're talking about! Michael could be the businessman from hades when he wanted to have things his way.......otherwise.....you don't know what in the hail you're talking about!

Q: Nevertheless, millions of deluded fans thought Michael Jackson was “God”. Someone had to be the scapegoat.

A: Blasphemy!!!!!Nobody thought Michael Jackson was equal to the creator of heaven and earth. please. his fans simply loved, admire and stood with him no matter how hateful the media machine tried to ruin him.

Q: Was Conrad Murray blameless? Certainly not. Does Dr Murray therefore deserve to pay with his life for serious errors of judgement? Absolutely not.
A: It seems as if Murray disagrees with you. Murray did not get the death penalty for goodness sakes. Although death by lethal injection would have been poetic justice personified. Murray can get psychiatric care and treatment in prison too. These are the consequences for his premeditated actions. Give Murray some psychotropics and let him face the music in prison.

Oh I know-- they made a big deal.. Murray only got $1 for that doc-mentary.. sure on paper.. but I know damn well.. there's a lot of hidden provisos that came with that contract..
___________________________________________________________
You got that right! $1 to murray.....$1million transferred to his mother, wife or scattered amongst any of his seven children.....
Big universities are/were notorious for giving giving "gifts" to parents of star athletes who sign a letter of intent with a prestegious athletic program (jmo). this way the athlete is not actually paid or compensated for the millions the college will make over the next four years off that kid
(oopps.... student-athlete)....that was back in the day of course......nothing like that is going on today........espeicially at Penn St.

"A person's medical or mental health status in the Los Angeles County Jail is protected under the law."

The LAPD and the LAW.....protecting the rights a convicted murderer......
Prisoner rights mirror constitutional rights in that they require institutions to provide their inmates with a minimum standard level of treatment. Prisoners do not lose their constitutional rights to due process, appeals, and parole when they are incarcerated. Prisoner rights also protect individuals against discrimination, abuse, or other mistreatment on the basis of race, sex, religion, or national origin. Prisoner rights also include the freedom of speech and religion.
Prisoner rights are generally guaranteed by the 8th amendment of the U.S. Constitution. This amendment states that incarcerated persons are not to be subjected to “cruel and unusual punishment.” However, there are several constitutional protections that an imprisoned individual loses. One notable right that is revoked for incarcerated persons is the protection against unwarranted searches and seizures.
While those detained in prisons or jails do not typically have the same civil rights as free citizens, they are still protected under certain federal and states laws.
You can almost be certain that california law will change to accommodate conrad murray.......oooops they did that already.....now they're trying to build a case in the court of public opinion before sentencing to keep murray out of a maximum security facility.......a FEDERAL PENITENTIARY....
when all they have to do is let onenuhdem boyz out for good behavior and give Murray his cell. problem solved?
nawh we'll change the law so that murray can be on house arrest......the next convicted murderer can go on house arrest too.......for some reason I think a cell will be available....
Under the GWB administration reportedly 600-800 prisons were built in the USA and they're empty.....some are fully staffed but all are reportedly have no inmate population..............

Man, I need this Fanfest week!!! Love you Michael!!!
Always have, always will!!!

Why is TMZ using the photo of Murray's crocodile tears in court? Murray was still under the impression that he was going to be acquitted when that photo was taken. The tears were fake.
