Natalie Wood Boat

Now in Calmer Waters

11/19/2011 3:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Take a look at the boat where Natalie Wood died.  It's moored in Kewalo Basin Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii.

We've learned after the accident, the boat was sold and re-named Grateful Lady.  It was subsequently purchased by a Honolulu resident who returned the name of the boat to Splendour in honor of Natalie.

Fun Fact:  The owner changed the last 4 digits of his phone number to 9663 -- WOOD.

The captain did it. He is trying to shift the blame cause they where getting close after nobody was investigating for 30 years.

i don't know what they think they will find - this is a old boat - it as been refurbished many times in 30 years - especially the transum where she could have hit her head, it wood and looks like its brand new, or the hull it's been redone so they won't find any evidence of a struggle - so even if they find their dna on the boat, who cares we know who was there already - this is stupid

Yeah, it's rumored that alcoholism killed Judy Garland... but actually, it was the Tin Man.

the best of the allen quimby veneer company in its day. who ever owns this boat, its a labor of love, its would cost a small fortune to maintain it in todays world. wood hull, miles of varnish, better have a badger brush permanently implanted in your wrist !!

Isn't it bad luck to rename a boat? Does the bad luck go away if you change it back?

This yacht isn't all THAT big. I bet Christopher Walken and the captain heard and saw a LOT more of what was going on between Natalie and Robert Wagner when they were fighting. It doesn't matter if the music was on unless it was turned WAAAY up.

Christopher Walken and Robert Wagner know what really happened. They just wanted to protect their careers and so forth ... kinda like Joe Paterno and the administration at Penn State.

Christopher Walken would probably HELP his career if he came forward and told everyone what really happened.

Why cover up this mystery for Robert any longer? Robert is 81 years old. He might be in the last few years of his life anyway.

@Mike: EXACTLY... IN FACT WHY DOESNT DOUCHE BAG RJ WAGNER JUST CONFESS AND SAVE THE TAX PAYERS AND NATALIE WOOD'S FAMILY ANY GRIEVANCE AND MONEY. DUDE IS 81. HE HAS WHAT --- 4 OR 5 YRS LEFT ANYWAY. DUDE, JUST ADMIT IT ALREADY AND DO THE JAIL TIME. IT'S NOT LIKE HE'S DOING ANYTHING NOW WHICH WOULD BE THE SAME THING IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT. TRUTH!!

nice thought truth - but too much time and too many drugs i don't think any one has a clear view of that nite - plus it's not like a tv show - no one is just going to confess after 30 yrs when there is no evidence - i think it was an accident fueled by drugs and alcohol that every one had a hand in including natalie - unfortunatley

What a waste of money for the County of Los Angeles and the State of California. There is NO WAY charges will ever be filed, because all the D.A. has now is a 30 yr old statement. That doesn't even add up to cir****tantial evidence. Wagner is never going to give an admission or confession. Walker would have spoken up years ago if he was going to get involved. He is going to do what is best for him. Stop wasting money.

I just looked up what last Hollywood acting that Robert Wagner has been doing. Ironically, he was cast for "NCIS" (the crime TV show) as the drunken father of one of the cops on that show.

http://www.ncisfanwiki.com/page/Anthony+DiNozzo+Sr.

Now it looks like Robert is once again under the microscope of people like Nancy Grace and the police are investigating him like he's the "person of interest" in an episode of NCIS.

Funny how life imitates art and vice versa ... especially with Hollywood stars.
