Coppola never wanted to make the Godfather. He only singed on so he could make "The Conversation" which lost best picture to The Godfather Part II.
It's pretty funny when you think about. Coppola beat himself with a movie he didn't want to make

Hey TMZ'ers those that want the Krapdashian to disappear. Whenever you see a post on tmz or any other web site DO NOT POST A COMMENT/REPLY you're only making them relevant. If we don't make them relevant which is what they want us to do they will eventually go away. is as simple as that... =o)

If you are a fan of the book, then you would most likely agree that the second movie was not a good move. It totally contradicted the message and ending of the Godfather book. Also the ending of the first movie wasn't accurate either. Kate accepted the life of the mafia and started going to church with her mother in law to pray for the men. She wasn't left standing alone as the doors closed on her, while she appears to "not understand" or to not be supportive of her husband.
There are many other inconsistencies in the second movie that I believe would've NEVER happened in the book version of the Godfather.

Wow Jimmy, that's quite a little ego you have there. I hate to tell you but the first GF film, yes--the one you were in---belonged COMPLETELY to Al Pacino! He RULED that movie, as well as the second GF. SONNY WHO?????
