Bill Gates reportedly bans his kids from using iPhones and other Apple products ... but the above device in his daughter's hand -- white headphones included -- looks eerily like a Steve Jobs machine.
Bill's wife Melinda and his 9-year-old daughter Phoebe went out for a light stroll Tuesday in Sydney, Australia -- and we're not 100% sure from the picture ... but it sure looks like Phoebe's holding on to what appears to be an iPhone.
So, we gotta ask ...

Not an Iphone. Head phone jack is in the wrong spot. It's clear from the photo the screen is facing up which puts teh headphone jack on the wrong corner. Based on shape and jack postion I was say it's a Samsung Focus.

Actually I ran into Bill Gates and a hotel and he was using an iPhone so I think like all people he knows who makes the best product.
