Kardashian Sisters

SUED FOR $5 MIL

Your Diet Pills Are BOGUS!!!!

3/2/2012 6:27 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Kim Kardashian and a diet pill called QuickTrim
Kim Kardashian and her sisters waged a campaign of LIES when they claimed they got their rock hard bikini bodies from a diet pill called QuickTrim ... this according to a new $5 MILLION lawsuit.

The point of the suit -- a bunch of people in NY claim there's no POSSIBLE way QuickTrim could've helped Kim, Khloe and Kourtney lose weight ... because the main ingredient is caffeine. According to the suit, "The FDA has determined [caffeine] is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control."

Enter the Kardashians ... celebrity spokespeople who are featured on just about every single product QuickTrim sells.

According to the suit, filed in NY by Bursor & Fisher, the Kardashians fed lies to the public through commercials, magazines and social media since 2009 ... like when Kim went on Twitter and said, "Our QuickTrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight."

The plaintiffs claim they would NEVER have purchased the QuickTrim products if they would have known the truth ... and claim the Kardashian testimonials were completely unsubstantiated.

Now, the Kardashians, QuickTrim and various companies that sold the products are being sued for more than $5 million in damages.

So far, no comment from the Kardashian camp.

Oh boohoo. Weight loss pills and drinks aren't miracle workers. They require getting off your ass and working out and eating healthy. I take phentermine which is filled with caffeine and 'it was given by a doctor. I'm not going to sue phentermine if it doesn't do it's job, if I don't do mine. People are idiots. Instead of 5 million dollars theses idiots shoud get 5 million in workout equipment. Lmfao

And the kardashians are doing what every one else is doing; SELLING A PRODUCT. I applaud them for taking a negative situation and spinning it positive. And while everyone wants to sit and pretend to hate them, their ratings are going up and they're making more money then ever. Now what does that tell ya? People are full of **** that's what.

go away, Kardashians. Please, just take your money, and go away. So sick of reading about this good-for-nothing family. You're horrible influences, and America is all the worse because of you. You've made your fortune, now hibernate.

Yep I said that

I laugh out loud when the claim the Kockroachian bimbos have rock hard bodies, none of them have any toning or shape in the arms, shoulders, leg you name it they are flabby bimbo's. Kim ho thinks wearing clothing 3 sizes too small for her fat arrse makes her "in shape" LOL

Celebrities Suck

Pretty sad how many vulnerable idiots believe everything that they see on tv. It's as easy as this, and celebs wont tell you this because they want to make money off of you by selling products that wont work and can harm your health. All you have to do is workout at lease 30 min everyday there is no short cuts they're not magic pills! Eat smaller portions, eat veggies, eat fruits, limit your red meat intake. It's a fact that those that eat meats suffer far more from all kind of health problem thn those that don't eat meat. do some research, get educated regarding meat eaters vs those that don't eat meat and you'll be surprised on what you'll learn. Stop falling for products that don't work.....

C'mon, it's amazing how the Kardashians never have a comment when it comes to the truth against them.

Her Q score rating horribly bad yet true...no comment, Kardashian theamed magazine ware Kris Jenner wanted full editorial control, magazine said no and dumped. No comment. Mattel droping the Kardashian Barbi Dolls...no comment, The Gap fighting back over her bogus lawsuit...no comment. See the pattern.

Love to see how Kim can 'proove' which she has to do for her $20 million lawsuite for 'damages' against Old Navy The Gap over a commercial that had nothing to do with her in the first place.

Needless to say The Gap is not backing down. They have their lawyers looking into all of her, their finances (no way the Kardashians want that) to determine how Kim Kardashian can file a lawsuite against them claiming $20 mil in damages. Kim Kardashian can't.

Just one look at the photo of the main ho Kim in that ad and you know photo shopping and air brushing went into over time to create that fake photo of this bimbo, her gut looks nothing like that and her hips are double wide not this slimmed down version

Well, they've sold their souls so why not diet pills? They are all millionaires for doing nothing. Pretty sickening.

I'm just waiting for them to say they had no idea that this stuff didn't work and didn't read between the line, you know the basic plea to make them not take the blame. They are partners in this scam since this pill company was on one of the episodes awhile ago talking about how they can market the pill, even scott got involved in it. Its a Kardashian company through and through so they can't get out of this one. They should have sued more money considering if someone would have taken enough of those pills for a daily grind plus drink a lot of energy drinks they could possibly have died.

1. Why is everyone so up in arms about this? Do we really believe that they were the scientist behind creating this diet pill? I thought I read it is a GNC brand of diet pill, with the Kardashians being paid for the endorsement. Either way, it is not their pill, they are just paid to endorse it.
2. If you do believe this because of who promotes it so you buy it, it doesn't work, and think you have the right to sue and still sound like you are logical...you are wrong. Are you going to sue Eva Mendes because your hair doesn't turn out as beautiful as hers from using the hair color she endorses? What about Sarah Jessica Parker? She does endorses Garnier. Do you really believe that their hair even really looks like it does in the commercials and that they use those products? What about Charlise Theron? I don't like the smell of J'Adore Dior, can I sue her because she is in their ads? Can I sue Anna Nicole Smith's estate because I never looked like her in Guess Jeans?
3. Do you read fine print? It says on there that it has not been evaluated by the FDA, commercials say "results not typical", also in fine print is that you must consult your doctor before starting diet or exercise program, and that any claims by people of weight loss included diet and exercise plan. Hello? Did anyone go to school? Does anyone know logic?
4. Research any product before you even ask your doctor about it. Ask your doctor before you even buy it and start taking it. Duh!
5. The saying, "Don't believe everything you see, hear, or read." is known for a reason. Because you shouldn't believe everything you see, hear, or read. Especially when it is advertising. There are tactics that are used to entice people to buy things and they are going to be misleading.
6. Stop with reality TV being your source for life and all things good and bad. Marketing, people do things to be profitable, they are a brand and the Kardashians do things to make money. We all work to make money, their work just happens to be in TV and product endorsement.

Start using your brains! There is no excuse for stupidity, the library is free for everyone.

Anyone who believes what the Kardashians say or advertise is a total fool, and that includes their reality shows ... all of those are staged.

This is so ridiculous! Yes, Quick Trim should be sued for the 5 mil. Not the Kardashian's! Did they create the product? No. Did they endorse the product? Yes, they did. But the bottom line is that, even though, a lot of people don't like the Kardashian's (myself included sometimes) it still is ludicrous to sue them when they aren't even the creators of the product.

Who Knew

The main problem here is the pills don't come with an air brush artist.
