Nicole Ritchie is the biggest surprise for me. I thought she would end up a drug addict constantly going to rehab, or worse. She actually turned out to be very nice and appears responsible!

Yeah, they plant one tree for the photographers and then jump in a gas guzzling SUV and drive back to a 25,000 sq. ft. home. Crank they a.c., jump in a 2000 sq. ft. heated pool. Then at night they light the house up like it's Vegas. So they burn through enough electricity to light up 50 regular homes. Nothing but a bunch of phony's.

Nothing more than a photo op for posers.

Hmm. They're not exactly wearing gardening clothes--not even gloves!--are they? How many trees d'ya suppose they actually planted in those outfits?

Phoney publicity seeking pictures...the Hollywood celebs should do something of real importance like....drive reasonable cars, live in moderate houses etc.

There are only a few real photos there, ever planted a tree? It's hard. You don't do it in flowy dresses and heels. Your hands are not clean, you wear gloves. So most of these celebs let others do the work, then they take the photo and leave.

Wow.. planting a tree just so you can be photographed planting a tree that you otherwise would not have planted. How special!

And they made sure a slew of press was there to take the picture. How much do they do when it isn't an Earth Day publicity grab?
