Death House for Sale

The San Diego house in which NFL legend Junior Seau killed himself has been put up for sale.

The 2,200 sq. ft. beachfront property was listed yesterday for $2.3 million. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

The realtor tells TMZ, he plans to sell the house before the end of summer -- and WILL be informing prospective buyers about the famous suicide that took place inside the home on May 3rd.

Seau originally purchased the place back in 2005 for a little over $3 million. It's unclear who's currently living in the home, if anyone.

So sorry for his death but I have to say this is one of the ugliest houses I have seen in a long time. I guess it's location, location, location, because I would literally not give $60...K for that in Kansas, or Indiana, Louisiana, etc.

Just walked past this on my early morning walk today and wondered if they'd sell soon.

Wow. That house is not attractive at all. 2.3 million you say? Good luck with that.

It looks like you'd be able to see the neighbors have sex from your bedroom window, the properties are too close together. It's ugly from the outside and in addition, a lost soul killed himself inside. It'd be a waste of money to buy the house and then move out because of a haunting...or thin walls.

If my house looked this bad I'd have to kill somebody not myself.

Yuck. No wonder he got depressed. Low ceilings, tacky furniture, dated furnishings. Not much for two million.

There is a little boardwalk street in between the house and the sand and surf...and that is all that's in between. I live in the area and drive the strand road every week or two and surf at Wisconsin street about 100yds from the house. The realtor would LOVE to sell this at top dollar before the end of summer. REALITY is that it won't sell soon and at top dollar due to the cir***stances around it. But the realtor can dream if he/she wants to. RIP Mr. Seau.

he paid 3 million for THAT?
that is a very modest looking place. you got neighbors 3 feet away. you must be paying a 90% rate for location since that place is NOT worth anything close to that.

Great location across from the beach. Someone will buy it for 1.9 mil and tear it down, or gut it at the minimum. It's clearly 30 years old.

It literally looks like Seau hired a grandma and grandpa to be in charge of his interior decorating... It's in an awesome location, but man that house is just ugly. I am very sorry how he ended his life, but anyone under 75 would get depressed in that house.
