Next time you think about acting all smug in comparison to Germany, why don't you look up some history about post WW2 German POWS and how they were treated after the war. Allied nations led by Eisenhower starved and tortured something like 10 million Germans in death camps similar to those used by the Nazis. Perhaps it was considered "just cause" because of what they did to the Jews.

So don't go acting all smug as if Americans have never conducted systematic mass genocide. Re: Seebee's comment "They were schooled by losing"? pretty funny story. I am German myself and it is indeed funny to hear a lot of German people speak English.
Besides, foreign countries allways pull the Nazi thing because they dont know anything else about the German history. Which is ok - as longs as it is funny.

for ****s sake, germany has a bad past, but that was more than 60 years ago, most people who have experienced that time are dead now.
Now I'd say that germany is one of the most progressive countries there is. We have reasonalbe gun laws, very low crime rate and a way better constitution than most other countries, especially the usa. I went to a german school, and we actually have next to no problems with bullies. There are few religious nuts, and I'd say that the general public is way better educated than in america.
Take a look at your own damn country before post crap like that.
America has been involved in most wars of the last 40 years, in which they mostly had no buisness at all. Our history protects us from repeating the same mistakes. There are way more nazis in america. Right wing politics is present everywhere in america
