There have always been murmurs that Randy is unhappy with how he must present himself / i.e. in the world of country music; TMZ itself knows that he's got an ex-wife down his back, etc. etc. I think that the only way that this can end well is if Randy chooses between his life and his career/image; this may well be a textbook example of having to 'walk away' from what is causing the demons, and if he does that, the demons will take care of themselves. I'm a big fan of his, and I keep hoping for the best with this mess - there's still hope, right?

Alcohol is a socially accepted drug. It is a worldwide epidemic. How many people here will have a beer, or a few drinks, and then drive themselves home, or run a quick errand? It is the most celebrated beverage of all time. Randy is only one victim, of millions, to the hypocrisy of socialized liquor consumption.
