Quentin Tarantino threw a total hissy fit when asked if there was a connection between movie violence and real violence -- but he's one of the few people who probably doesn't mind putting his foot in his mouth.

"kind of" TMZ? That's putting it lightly and... I can't get over how QT's starting to look like Billy Bob Thornton's sister.

Here is another movie on slavery from Arab nations across north Africa. It looks like it is the second part of the other video on it from the sixties. It makes you want to faint. This is what our petro dollars are supporting every time we buy gas from them. The money doesn't go to the people but to the corporations and the princes who use it to buy more and more expensive slaves.

Maybe Bashir doesn't want to see D'jango be unchained. Not even joking, it really isn't funny at all. He is cleverly attacking the movie over violence which is an irrelevant red herring issue.

Is slavery violent? Yes. Should it be talked about. Yes. Has Quentin done that in good faith? Yes.

That reporter was in the wrong. He was just trying to "Martin Bashir" his way to stardom off the back of Quentin. He knew exactly what he was doing. Too bad he picked the wrong star to try to boost his career. You're not going to get on ABC News like Martin if you don't go after a megastar like Michael.

If Quentin has any sense of humility and humor, he'll laugh out loud at this TMZ video. And admit it's better directed than some of his work :D

Oh my God people, leave Quentin alone already. It isn't his fault that there is people with severe mental issues who can't differentiate between fantasy and reality. And those people aren't influenced by violent movies or video games, its the animosity they've build up over years against people they felt shunned them out in some way from society and so they react . And for all the people hating on the way he directs, too bad, he's still here and relevant....and laughing all the way to the bank, not bad for a high school drop out.

Yeah TMZ, I get how you, representing the pinnacle of respectable journalism as you always have, would be offended by an interviewee not bending over pre-lubed upon arriving for a Q

Quentin was completely right and very polite about it. He is articulate and savy and told this jerk reporter to shove his bogus questions. It would have been different if Quentin asked the reporter if movies in India cause men to publicly rape their women.

Hey, I think that guy was practicing ambush journalism, or interviewing techniques, or whatever...in any case loved the movie...may see it again.

Violent movies have existed for a long time. The bigger difference between now and decades ago is the level of violence and sex on primetime TV. Though if parents are involved enough, they should be monitoring what their kids watch, so that the rest of us don't have to cater to them. If that's too hard, don't have kids.
