Chris Isaak Sued

Roadies Allegedly

Out of Control

breaking news

Chris Isaak's roadies lambasted the handful of women who worked on the singer's tour, calling one a bitch and a c**t, and hurling shocking homophobic slurs at a male roadie ... this according to allegations in a new lawsuit.

Lane Hirsch -- who worked on Chris' tour for 17 years as a lighting designer and technician -- claims in his suit ... he was fired after repeatedly complaining to Isaak and others that the 2 female roadies were treated horribly and he was on the receiving end of crude anti-gay comments.

Hirsch says after he complained that one of the roadies was abusive, a number of his colleagues went after him with a vengeance, calling him a "f*g" and a "little girl." He claims crew members would say, "blow me," and "suck my d**k you little f*g."

Hirsch also complained of choking on marijuana smoke but no one took him seriously.

According to the lawsuit, Isaak -- who is a defendant along with others on his crew -- knew full well what was going on but did nothing.

Hirsch says he was unceremoniously fired without notice. He's suing for wrongful termination, defamation and discrimination.

I find it funny that a bunch of gay hating commentors are on a site that is run by a gay man and half of his staff are gay. If you hate the gay lifestyle so much, why are you promoting it by coming to this site? Maybe a little hidden homosexuality in your backgrounds? I'm not gay, and I have no problem with that lifestyle, but bullying is rampant all across this country and you all seem to have no problem with it. If the guy had been black and had been called the N-word, prety sure there would be huge fallout for Chris and his crew. Just goes to show that the gays still have a large wall to climb.

Chris Issak, the one that had a hit in 1991? The only thing about this that makes me suspicious is that after 17 years, how much longer is the job going to last anyway? Might as well get fired and sue. Why aren't the women that were abused suing? They still want to work? Do they still work for Chris Issak?
Sometimes people just move on. I could have sued people but that's not me. Not because I'm so nice, but because it's usually asking for money to punish someone for making you a victim and since I don't see myself as a victim I can't really get into that.
