He's got a TORN ACL in his left knee, but "semi-retired" UFC legend Georges St-Pierre didn't let that stop him from working out on the beach in FL ... and even pulling off a headstand. 

It's a risky move for the fighter, considering if he came down wrong on his left leg, he could've done even more damage to his knee ... and ruined any chance of a UFC comeback. 

In fact, GSP recently said his ACL is so badly torn, he's undergoing surgery in the next couple of days. 

So again we ask ... is it impressive that GSP pulled off some risky training moves on a bum knee IN THE SAND ... or really stupid?

Smart! He's not squatting, he's pressing to handstand. Super impressive that he can do it and impressive that he's not sitting around like a slug while recovering but instead, he's working around his injury. Between him and Erik Owings I'm sure they won't do anything that will put him in danger. Seems like they're just playing around anyway!

Yea, least he's out keeping in shape and I'm sure, neither of them would take such a risk, it's their livelihood and their wheelhouse.
They'd know better.

The girls were not impressed! Wake up folk!s! This is how he dose things. He get's (pretends) to get injured or what ever he is coached to do, hopping the next best contenders via fr a spot to kick his ass get injured and will not preform at full speed when given a chance to fight him.

Lousy journalism. Inform yourself before talking about "really stupid" stuff.

You can do a lot of physical stuff even with a torn ACL. As long as you don't apply any strong lateral (side) force to the knee it's all good. I had a torn ACL for over 10 years and can still run, jump, bike, etc. And my legs are nowehere as toned and muscular as GSP's.
