Tracy Morgan

Walmart Will Take Responsibility

If Its Driver's to Blame

6/7/2014 1:37 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Walmart is stepping up ... saying it will pay expenses for the victims in the crash that left Tracy Morgan in critical condition Saturday morning if its driver is found at fault ... this according to their CEO.

Walmart President/CEO Bill Simon says they're working with investigators to figure out what led to the crash ... adding, "this is a tragedy and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved."

Simon says, "We can't change what happened, but we will do what's right for the family of the victim and the survivors in the days and weeks ahead."

Prosecutors have already charged the driver, Kevin Roper, with death by auto ... among other charges.

ehhh

Walmart is an evil tyrant! Paying there employees the minimum so they are forced to go on food stamps and can afford their benefits and they abuse their Chinese factory workers... But hey they provide low everyday prices so it makes all that ok! I hope they pay big time for this!

In other words, by paying for all costs involved, we hope you don't sue us for the stupidity of our driver.

While I commend them for doing the right thing... I have to question whether or not they'd be doing the "right thing" if it wasn't on the front page of TMZ and it was just an average Joe who was one of the victims.

For some reason I highly doubt that they would, at least not without gong to court and paying out the bare minimum.

Ppl can't complain about walmart and it's employees! They only way 2 see a change with walmart n it's employees is 2 stop shopping there! If enough ppl stop shopping at walmart then I'm sure there will be a change if not then stop complaining about how walmart conducts business. Simple n plain!
