Before landing in the top 20 slot of 'Idol,' Hicks titled his CD 'Under The Radar,' telling his bandmates: "I'm under the radar for the last time! It's either this or nothing!" The CD has already sold out.
As for Taylor Hicks rejoining his band after 'Idol,' one bandmate told TMZ: "We are all very clear that we haven't finished playing music together."
The band, which was called the Taylor Hicks Band, has temporarily changed its name to Little Memphis Blues Orchestra with Brian Less on piano/organ/vocals, Mitch Jones on bass, Sam Gunderson on guitar/vocals, Zippy Dieterich on drums/vocals, and manager Bill Williams. Even with Taylor missing from the band, they still draw a sold-out crowd!
By the way, bandmates say Taylor, who performed last night on 'Idol,' is very much single.
