David Copperfield -- Magician's Plane Forced to Make Emergency Landing
David Copperfield No Magic Plane Makes Emergency Landing
It was no trick this morning when a private jet carrying David Copperfield was forced to make an emergency landing in Peoria, IL after the plane started making strange noises.
Copperfield was traveling from Las Vegas to New York City, where he was scheduled to make an appearance on the "Today" show.
Copperfield later told the show, "We were 37,000 feet in the air and I recorded (the strange noise) because it was lasting for a long time. I heard this sound (crackling), and it wouldn't stop. I felt kind of freaked out and they told us we have to go back for our descent. We were going in a spiral with G-force, and we finally got to the ground ... and it turned out there was snow all around."
He can make the Statue of Liberty disappear, but he can't handle a little turbulence?
