Safaree Samuels is having a hard time dealing with his break-up with Nicki Minaj -- and it doesn't help that everywhere he turns ... there she is.

Samuels told our photog Sunday night ... his little Twitter fight with Minaj over the weekend was no big deal and that he will always have love for her.

But Samuels said the break-up has been particularly hard on him since Nicki is so famous ... saying he can't turn on the TV or the radio without hearing her voice.

Now might be a good time to get into "Serial" -- she wasn't on that and it was amazing.
