Boyz II Men got personal with our TMZ photog at the Kentucky Derby ... when Shawn Stockman introduced himself to the cameraman's mom on the eve of Mother's Day.

Shawn and Nathan Morris were leaving the Derby, when Joe Andaloro's mother stopped in her tracks when she realized the guys who sang "A Song For Mama" were talking to her son.

Nate's mom was also there, stylin' in a pretty awesome hat.

They really are mama's boys.
