Fishburne Sued Over Pregnancy

Published

Actor Laurence Fishburne has been sued by his former personal assistant, who claims the actor fired her because she became pregnant.

In documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Kristel Crews claims, among other things, that during her pregnancy and before she was fired, Fishburne confronted her and forced her "to explain to him in great detail, repeatedly, why she made the decision to have a child and the physical course it took to become pregnant."

The suit also claims that Fishburne told her he did not believe "in women having children on their own," and "that there were consequences to her decision to have the baby without consulting him..."

Crews also alleges that her former boss "could not understand why she had not come to him before she made the decision to become pregnant."

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes Warned on Fetal Ultrasound Danger

Published

In a follow-up to a story that TMZ.com broke on Nov. 23, the American College of Radiology (ACR) has issued a warning to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes about the dangers of fetal ultrasound performed without a medical professional, as well as issues of illegality.

In the new statement issued yesterday, the Chairman of the ACR Ultrasound Commission Carol M. Rumack said, "the ACR is concerned that Tom Cruise has been badly advised."

Between the sonogram, Tom's couch jumping, Holmes' decision to become impregnated by Cruise, Holmes dropping her agent and publicist, and subsequently quitting all of her scheduled Hollywood projects, "badly advised" seems to be the order of the day for TomKat.
