Oscar De La Hoya isn't impressed with Donald Trump's taco salad tribute to Cinco de Mayo.

The boxer just joined the guys on "TMZ Sports" (airs Thursday on FS1) -- and addressed not only the taco salad situation ... but also the new footage of him praising Trump's golf skills.

Oscar makes it clear he's not backing off his "Trump Is a Cheater" golf stance ... and has a huge problem with his taco salad.

Before Oscar De La Hoya hit Donald Trump with hardcore cheating allegations -- he was singing Trump's praises as a "great golfer" after personally watching the guy nail an impressive shot.

Both Oscar -- and George Lopez -- gave video testimony about Trump's incredible golf skills following an outing with the businessman in April 2010 at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles.

In the video, obtained by TMZ Sports, Trump walks up to the group, takes a club and crushes a tee shot at the 15th hole ... putting the ball feet from the pin on a par 3 without even warming up.

"I'm actually very surprised that he hit his tee shot so close to the pin because that was his first shot of the day," Oscar said ... "What does that tell you? He's a great golfer."

George Lopez also went on camera and praised Trump for the shot.

It's a COMPLETELY different story from the one De La Hoya told this week -- in which he painted Trump as a bumbling cheater who repeatedly tried to pull fast ones on his fellow players.

But we're told Trump didn't even play with Oscar that day -- he only stepped on the course for that ONE shot and left. He claims it's the only time he's EVER been on a golf course with the boxer.

Donald Trump "outright cheated" during a golf outing with Oscar De La Hoya ... so says the boxer himself who claims Trump resorted to dirty tricks just to beat him on the links.

Oscar was on "The Score" radio show in Vegas when he recanted his golf match with Trump at Donald's own golf course in Los Angeles.

"I witnessed it. He outright cheated," Oscar said ... "not once, not twice but 3 times."

You gotta listen to Oscar tell the story ... the Golden Boy says he was cracking up the entire time because "you have a man who's a billionaire and he has to cheat just to say he beat me."

One meltdown doesn't make you a loser ... especially when it's Jordan Spieth.

We were talkin' about Spieth's disaster of a finish with Chris O'Donnell (he's a huge golf nut) -- when Chris essentially explained why Jordan's quadruple bogey at the 12th hole at The Masters won't define him.

Long story short ... O'Donnell says there's still one thing Spieth does better than ANYONE ELSE in the world.
