Paparazzi Gone Wild 2

Britney Spears' Mom

Paparazzo Cullen Reavley is suing Britney Spears and her mom Lynne for allegedly running him over two years ago when they drove away from a pet store. Lynne was at the wheel when the incident occurred after the paparazzi swarmed their vehicle. Reavley claims he suffered injuries to the "head, neck, back, trunk and extremities, all of which have caused and continue to cause [him] great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering." Police reportedly determined driver Lynne did nothing wrong and she was not cited.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Not all celebs detest the paparazzi. Jennifer Love Hewitt, in the throws of a shopping trip on L.A.'s trendy Robertson Blvd, came to the aid of a fallen photographer who took a nasty fall while in hot pursuit of the star. In lieu of a purple heart, the paparazzo got a hug from J.Love and her cautionary words -- "You have to be careful!"

Jessica Simpson played peacekeeper when her friends clashed with paparazzi outside a Hollywood hotspot. Simpson told her posse to "stop it" as they exchanged barbs with photogs who had gotten a little too close for comfort.

Sometimes celebs strike back - at least according to one paparazzo. Anthony Goodrich told TMZ that Bruce Willis allegedly smashed Goodrich's camera into his face as the action star entered a West Hollywood restaurant. Goodrich claimed the impact broke the skin on his nose and chipped a tooth.

Willis fired back by filing suit against Goodrich, claiming the "stalker-paparazzi" lied by telling TMZ that the actor assaulted him. The suit goes on to say that Goodrich's testimony to TMZ exposed Willis to "hatred, contempt, ridicule and obloquy..." Willis is seeking no less than $1million in damages.

The LAPD tells TMZ that two days after filing a police report, Goodrich "refused to prosecute so the case was closed."

1. TMZ have gone way too far, concerning the Photographer who has been exremely badly treated during the incodent concerning the Jolie-Pitts last Thursday at the school in Mailibu.
TMZ, being an agency who thrive, and who would not even be in bussines if they did not deal with these press agencies day in day out.
Next time and in this case you should get the true facts right before posting things that are far from the truth and that can dammage a Photographers career. You have completely twisted the truth and elaborated to the point that a decent Photographer may get into extremely serious trouble because your site is lying about the story and posting polls wheter or not the Photographer should be sent to jail for a mistaken tresspass with no malicious intent,
As a result a large number of press agencies are going to be boycotting TMZ and when ever a employee of TMZ are trying to work alongside the Paparazzi, they will be blocked and stopped from working over and over again.

3. Last weeks incident concerning the Jolie-Pitt daycare was obviously the extreme. When anyone, whether it be a celeb or a regular Joe Blow expresses the intent to harm/harass a child, the proper actions should have been taken, as they were. However, celebrities unofficially sign on the dotted line regarding their privacy when they pursue the career of celebrity status. Celebrities either need to accept it or stop being famous.

4. I think we should all walk in the shoes of the celebrities, I wonder would be so willing to share our priviate lives. Just because they are movie stars and that is the way they make a living, we do not have the right to butt into to their private life.
There should be a limit as to what they have to share.

5. Who are you people who care about what's on this blog? Men and women are dying in Iraq and you worry about paparazzi? Get a life!

7. I think people's obsession with celebrities is nuts. To be honest, I could care less to see someone movie star coming out of a store or what there wearing at a premiere. I think most of the non-sense is helped by the media corporations. Think about how many of these publications are paying for pictures of celebrities and in turn also have vested interest in the success of that same celebrity. An example, Disney owns or has subsiduries in about every type of media - print, TV and magizines - so it's kind of a circle. Then again who said the entertainment business make any sense.

8. I think the current state of 'stalkerazzi' has gone to the extreme and is out of control. Especially when it comes to them trying to sue the people they were stalking and they get hurt.

Take the guy suing Britney Spears: he claims he was run over. Now let's assume that Britney and her mother asked the papparazzi to stand clear of the vehicle so that they could leave and weren't listened to. It is not Britney's or her mother's responsibility to take into account the safety of their pursuants. They have a right to go about their own live just like any other citizen. No, I'm not saying they have a right to hurt people in the process, but papparazzi are hardly 'people'. If they get hurt doing something like this, it is their fault. Especially if you don't know whether or not you're going to get hurt. Like animals, cornered humans can be dangerous too. That and every little thing a celebrity says or does isn't supposed to be public knowledge.

But I understand the other side of that last statement. If a celebrity didn't want all the attention, why seek celebrity status? However, the only reason the papparazzi have gone to such extremes is because of tabloids, newspapers, and magazines. These publications pay big bucks for photos of celebrities because they know they can sell them to the public. And it's the public's demand of 'coverage' that fuels all this.

9. Maybe if people weren't so willing to pay money for a magazine of somebody doing the things that we do oh like licking some ice cream, or shopping or thier day off this wouldn't be a problem. Personally I'm not paying for any tabloid to know that celebrities are just like me. they go grocery shopping, they have KIDS, and they pick up dog poo! Why is that so important ? enough for people to fund this tabloids to pay up all this money to the next person with a picture of somebody.

10. This subject has irked me for years - yes, when you get paid a ridiculous amount of money to be "famous" you look like an idiot if you complain about the paparazzi. If they were not there to take your picture you would not be working. If you aren't working they aren't hanging outside your house 24/7 trying to get a picture - see the connection? These two groups need each other to survive. HOWEVER I do believe there should be some unwritten laws here - some code of ethics if you will. When these stars start having families and babies and toddlers are photographed with this look of absolute terror in their eyes because they don't understand why they are being mobbed - that breaks my heart. When Princess Diana was photographed on a balcony (from the next door balcony) crying her eyes out over the loss of her father - that broke my heart. I don't want to see these moments in their lives - mostly because I know that they are human just like me and their lives are not perfect because they have money and fame - yes they are public figures and just have to tolerate that part of it - but people hanging out of trees - to capture the more personal moments - that's just wrong in my opinion.

11. These people loke all people rich or poor deserve a little privacy and should not be hounded by the paparazzi unless they want to be, they should have some respect for people. Like what happened to Jennifer Aniston with the photographer hiding in a tree a mile from her home and taking pictures of her sun bathing nude, its uncalled for the poor girl has no privacy.

12. Too bad, so sad buddy. If I was a celebrity and needed to back up with my car or get thru a group of people, I would just say "backing up" so they could hear me and I'd GO. I'd push a camera out of my face too. Too bad it ended up in his mouth. Intrusive bastards. Yes, celebrities INVITE us into their lives, no doubt, but they have the right to be treated as human beings. They should be allowed to strike back and live their lives. Period.

13. Okay in response to the guy who supposively got assaulted by Bruce Willis. You're just like the rest of the mooching population that will sue any big star or rich person for two things...... publicity and money. I mean you can't see anything on the video. You don't have a chipped tooth or scratches on your face. Even if you did you probably had the chipped tooth from along time ago and those scratches are probably you being stupid. Which you seem to be good at. If I were Bruce I would sue you back too. Secondly even if it supposively happened, it was probably because you were messing with his children, which you desurve to be knocked out for.

14. Mistakenly trespassed? What's the mistake? You didn't see the big fence and cameras that were marking the property line? I think paparazzi take things to an extreme, not this website.

IF it were me and I saw a guy with a camera climbing a tree to get over onto my property, I would shoot him with rubber bullets. Maybe the pain will reimind him to keep out if a fence doesn't do the job adequitely

No one asked this guy to stand around to take pictures of Bruce while on a night out with his family.

I think it extremely rude to get into his face like that. How else would the photographer (that is if he is not lying to get money for a camera he may have broke himself) have gotten hit like that. Bruce was really defending himself against someone who was menacing.

Paparazzi need to chill. They are deadly beasts. Menacing and deadly.

Remember Diana.

15. I wish all you people would learn how to use a spell checker and stop using words like "supposively". Also, type in time with your brain, not ahead of it. You all sound like white trash.
