Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden got pretty hot and heavy this weekend at The Palms' Ghost Bar in Las Vegas. The couple partied it up on New Year's Eve and didn't hide their newly-found affection for each other. 
Thankfully, the pair was in a city where a car isn't essential for getting from place to place. Richie was arrested last month for DUI after driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway.

I was never a fan of Hilary Duff, but this boy pretending to be a man really treated her poorly and was obviously after only thing, and when he didn't get it, he ran to someone who would give it to him. Nicole and this joker deserve each other. And by the way, what do these girls see him? He is not hot. He looks like he is in clown makeup.

Despite Nicole's personal problems I think she's a fun and very down to earth person and from what we've seen of Joel while he was dating Hilary he seems to be the same and very grounded.I think he's the perfect guy for Nic right now I hope they make it.
