Another Beauty Queen Bites the Dust

It has not been a good year for beauty queens. First, reigning Miss USA Tara Conner got called to The Donald's office and sent to rehab for a few "indiscretions," then Miss Nevada Katie Rees' crown was yanked after steamy photos of her surfaced on TMZ. Now Miss New Jersey Ashley Harder has resigned from her throne -- because she went and got herself knocked up!

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that the 20-year-old Harder has voluntarily stepped down, because it's against pageant rules to compete while pregnant. Not to mention how much tougher it is in heels. Harder, who was crowned in October, told the newspaper she's expecting her child in "late summer" and plans to marry her live-in boyfriend. As for Trump, a rep tells TMZ that he wishes the now former Miss New Jersey well.

The next Miss USA will be crowned on March 23 in Los Angeles. The winner of that competition goes on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. Both pageants are owned by Donald Trump and NBC.

4. Well now someone with better morals will take her place. I remember when a girl who got knocked up would we wisked out of town, hidden until she gave birth at some home for wayward girls. This one who is a newscaster at a major Philadelphia station should have known better. She also was living with her boyfriend. LONG LIVE THE NEW MISS NEW JERSEY! It's the reason why pageants have first runners up.

10. Maybe more sluts can be crowned. And it's funny how she's expecting her child in "late summer" - if you do the math, that means she was pregnant BEFORE she was crowned. I guess it's going to be pretty impossible to hide the baby bump now. And 20 years old, pregnant and not married? How moral.

They should change the pageant name to - dumb, average looking, whores, and laught - us whores have a kid at age 20 - than cry, weep/sob, never experience life, and than age quickly never to be seen again as they put up their kid for adoption.. nice life average pageant whores......... the whores that enter the pageants at a young age regardless are very insecure, did not truly ever have a talent besides having a nice body in jr. high/high school and than figured they weren't going anywhere - fucked the boys to say hey rich mommy and boys..I not stuck up........... but you are you average whores

14. Change it to the Miss Skank pageant. These pageants are very clear about their strict rules. If you don't live that kind of life, don't waste everybody's time competing!!!

You are correct. If the winners/contestants can't live up to better moral values they can entertain another activity. The vast majority of pageant contestants are excellent role models, terrific students, and motivated, activators in their communities. I'm glad these girls who "behave badly" are quitting, or being fired.It's not the activity for them.
