3. I can't wait for his performance for the Spuerbowl halftime show. He will be performing with my school's band, Florida A&M University. The same people who performed last year with Kanye West. It will be awsome because we have the best band in world. Go Rattler's

4. Prince was late for his appearance on last years "American Idol". Remember when Ryan Seacrest looked around for the diminutive performer? They didn't know he would even be there until the last moment. So he's late again and misses out on his Golden Globe award....maybe he should just show up on time for things so he doesn't miss out. Plus it's rude, no matter WHO you are to be late. It's disrespectful for the people who invite you, and although they'll still kiss your ass, fans notice the inconsideration and it's like seeing his dirty socks. Eeeewww.

6. He just had a hard time getting out of the play gym at Mcdonalds . Nothing like trans fat and a trip to The Clowns bowels slide . dickhead . I LIke the dude , but he should grow up . Prince is awesome tho, can't wait to see him at the Superbowl. Finally a decent performer. Wish he would have been asked 10 years ago tho when his legs were a little fresher, doubt we will see the 48 year old doing the splits now..

14. Anyone that is thinks Purple Rain when they think of Prince just doesn't know enough to have an opinion. He is without a doubt THEE best "musician" of all time.With a new Record/Cd every year since 1977 and more awards than any artist alive or dead could imagine. He only get's better as he get's older. It's true that he was influenced by jimi Hendrix as was anyone that plays guitar. Every artist/musician in the world plays homage to the greats, some are just more obvious about it. Stop hating and stop watching American Idol and start listening to some real music so that you might know what you are talking about.
As far as Wal-mart sending Prince a free Tom-Tom, That's real nice publicity for them, but as someone that's actually been to LA, !@#$ happens. Get over it. There were probably a few more people that were caught in traffic, but you didn't hear about them because they didn't get an award.

I LOOOOVE that comment, Shane Hackworth, so very true!! Some unfortunate souls let their local radio staions dictate what music is while others KNOW what real music is all about and Prince is a musical GENIUS. He does jazz, blues, r&b, pop, rock, gospel, etc. Real musicians cross all boundaries. Purple Rain is so 80's, you people need to get over it and move on because Prince has!
