"View's" Demise Greatly Exaggerated

Rumors are swirling anew that morning TV's biggest girl-group -- Rosie, Elisabeth, Joy and Barbara of "The View" -- are breaking up the band. But TMZ has learned that it's just not true.

According to an In Touch report, the yenta denizens of "The View" might be set to go their separate ways -- O'Donnell to her own show when her contract ends in June, Hasselbeck back to E! network to host a "style" show, and most oddly of all, Behar into the hosting chair currently occupied by former "View" moderator Meredith Vieira on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." Vieira is reportedly signed through the 2008 season of "Millionaire." In Touch didn't specify what might happen to den mother Walters.

But a rep for "The View" put the speculation to rest. The report is "completely false" and that there's "no truth in any of that whatsoever."

16. Rosie O' Donnell signing on and Meredith Vieira and Star Jones leaving (or whatever) really killed the show's charm. It was a good program at one time--now, not so much. The set looks horrible, the guests seem to be shrinking in star power, it's time to end it. I wish it would just go off the air.

You know what else I hate? Those Kimberly-Clark Singers and Dancers. They're inane...

18. Rosie is a balloon without a tether and an ounce of class. The View might want to dump her when they realize she only ups ratings temporarily--it's easy to get sick of her behavior.

23. The View is viewed out already. Its obviously had too much of a turnover of hosts and if you ask me, I think Behar is senile who says dumb remarks. Barbara Walters is played out on the show and if you ask me I think Rosie is the most lively of the crew. As far as the young blond, and who could remember her name, she s just a bore.

24. Forget all this RosieO hype, the View needs a veteran to spice up their sagging...ratings. (or was it their bosoms that were sagging?) I vote for the seemingly forgotten Kathie Lee Gifford, and her stallion/philandering partner Frank. Their VIEW on life has to be more entertaining than the present day crap we now enjoy. Their VIEW on marriage alone is worth the price of admission. Just don't let her sing! Send Babs and the other babes on a cruise. Kathie Lee will take care of the arrangements. Problem solved.

26. God, I hope it is true that this show is OVER! When Meredith left, the show went south. Joy and Rosie are two over- opinionated, loud-mouthed, bitter women who sure don't represent ME, Barbara is a big phony and Elizabeth is not allowed to speak the opinions she was hired to represent...the show is awful the original chemistry is gone.

29. The View was a goner the minute it began to play host to Rosie and her homosexual agenda. Girls can't be girls anymore without some leering pervert like her ruining the atmosphere. I'll bet she was one of those creeps in high school that secretly ogled other girls in the locker room. ABC needs to wake up and can not just Rosie, but the entire lame show!

30. It has been so nice to watch the View this week with Rosie gone. She has taken over and bullied everyone else. I use to love to watch the view. Now, you can even hear what anyone else is saying because Rosie is so freaking loud!
