3. Here's the thing, it makes sense that the more talented contestants get voted off. Look at Taylor....MIA where Chirs Daughtry's career is soaring. Has anyone noticed that the "losers" of AI are doing pretty well for themselves. OK, Kelly and Carrie excluded (though I still think Carrie should have been in Nashville Star, not AI) but where's Reuben, Fantasia (oh wait she did a Lifetime movie) and Taylor? I remember that Clay sold more records than Reuben. It makes sense to me, get the exposure but not get tied down by the strict recording contract that AI seems to have. GO SANJIAYA!!!!

6. I do not understand why people are getting upset over Sanjaya, especially Simon who said if he wins he will quit. The judges put in in the Top 24 right? So if he is that bad, they should have X him in the beginning and we will not be discussing him right now.

7. At this point, I think he's TRYING to get voted off, that faux hawk.....forgetting the words to the song.....he's not even TRYING to pretend to be good anymore....and AMERICA is voting for him, as a joke......"vote for the worst"......

It's obvious, Sanjaya wants to go home.....and that poor soul starving them self till it happens....is going to die.....:(

The key here, as always, is who would people actually PAY to listen to when all is said, the voting has stopped, and there aren't enough dumb people out there just to feel sorry for someone and keep voting them through regardless. Problem is, that last part still carries through too much, and you end up with "different" people like Taylor and even Reuben winning, only for the clearly better and more talented singers you trully want to listen to getting voted off earlier and getting a lot more attention and real sales after the fact.

Here, we'll see. Sanjaya sucks in every music perspective aside from the unique look that gets the sympathy vote, and more importantly the movement at this point just to keep voting the worst through to spoof the show, which is slowly but surely getting old. Not technically the right thing to do, but when the vote is open to the masses, anything is open to happen, especially when you get such huge attention: the negative can turn into the positive and even a win.

11. Without Sanjaya present on AI this year it would be a big bore...yawn. There are very talented
people, but not one has any real stage presence. He brings the what is he going to do this week excitement to this AI. He got some encouragement from Randy and Paula, atleast they criticized him in a constructive way this week, and you have to admit he takes it all in stride. He is fun to watch, and I do not mean that in a demeaning way, maybe he will surprise all of us if he continues. He can sing, that is what got him there in the first place.

14. Sanjaya provides what America needs right now - good comic relief! So what if he isn't the best - he is unique and different and will be remembered. Besides the judges put him through to the test and now the public is doing the rest! Go Sanjaya!

15. eh hemmmm # 4 ,, u need to be corrected here,, lets get it right now.. u asked were Ruben , Fantasia and Taylor are... let me school ya .. ready.. here we go.. Ruben is chillin in his mansion from the $$$$ he made from his platnium ( yea i said platnium ) cd that was his 1st release, after that he had a christian album ( that went gold ) and he has a new cd out that is being played all ova the West coast.. Clay had a cd out b4 Ruben ( as the loser always is released first ), besides his xmas cd 2 yrs ago, Fakin Clay Aiken is a nobody, no cd makin loser. Now to Fantasia,,,, she too went platnium with her 1st cd, that had 4 gold records on it. She since has done a movie, recorded with SEVERAL ARTISTS ( puffy, john legend,just to name a few ),, and is now starring on Broadway . Thank u very much. Now on to Taylor,, he released an Xmas album b4 his 1st cd dropped. Get it right.
