George Clooney claims he didn't leak footage of the infamous obscenity-laced battle royale between Lily Tomlin and director David O. Russell on the set "I Heart Huckabees" ... and he's betting a million bucks that you can't prove it!
In a statement to various media outlets, Clooney, who's famous for pranking just about anyone he can, said, "Contrary to popular opinion, neither the sound man, Ed Tise, nor yours truly sent in the David O. Russell tape. I saw it when we were working on "Ocean's 12," and there have been quite a few copies traveling around town for the last couple of years. Any rumor that either of us put it on the Internet is simply false.
And I'd offer a million bucks to anyone who would prove otherwise.

Who knows if Clooney leaked it or not? I say no. The bigger story is that the whole movie, "I Heart Huckabees" is veiled reference to the perceived duplicitious relationship Clooney had on O'Russell during the filming of Three Kings. Clooney is represented by Jude Law's character, and O'Russell is represented by Jason S. In short, in O'Russell's mind, Clooney and his pleasant demeanor usurped power on the set and in the studio offices and "took control" of what was O'Russell's movie. Huckabee's was supposed to represent that time and be a cathartic release of a painful experience. As we can see, he still had stuff to work out during the filming. The guy doesn't need an assistant, he needs a therapist tethered to him at all times.
Looks like Clooney's career is dead and he is trying to get some publicity What a lame-ass story to hitch your faded star to, loser!.
This tape has been circulating for some time. I doubt Clooney leaked it. This is probably Russell's people trying to deflect attention from the fact that Russell is a complete asshole.
Anyone who has ever worked in theater, film, or television knows that it's not all "Leave it to Beaver" behind the scenes. We all have temper tantrums, but only those in the arts have the potentional of theirs being paraded all over the Internet and the 6 o'clock news. Lily Tomlin and David O. Russell are no different than anyone else in their positions; making movies requires a great deal of concentration and tempers flare as a result. It doesn't change the fact that they're highly talented and made a great movie. Get over it, people.
This is completely unprofessional behaviour by Russell. He's got a well deserved rep of being an asshole.
Russell trying to blame Clooney for this mess, when it's Russell's own fault. David needs to grow up.
The big three guesses direct from various hollywood film sets :
1. Someone jusy trying to make a buck finally sold it to the press. Several people have been offered money for the DVD
2. The Huckabee video operator is not as well liked as he thinks. Is someone trying to sink him?
3. Someone out to get Russell at any cost.

I think George Clooney is a closet gay guy...just like Rock Hudson...He isn't all that ladies...He looks the same in every movie, plays the same character in every movie he has no depth and basically, he's burning out....
'Real men' don't respond to such foolishness. The inner office cat fight really doesn't matter in the big scheme. There is nothing wrong with being gay, it's sad that George has to go to all these half truths to keep us guessing. And sadder still for the women who loved him and are ultimately left hanging.
