TMZ has learned that George Hamilton is the front-runner to replace Bob Barker on the "Price is Right."
We're told that CBS honcho Les Moonves and the show's producers think George is "wonderfully charming" and "could really make the show work."
We'll let you know if and when the perma-tanned TV titan is told to "come on down!"

5. You have got to be joking?!?!?! Maybe its time to put Price is right to bed. Noone can replace Bob and George needs to spend most of his time in a tanning booth anyhow so how could this possibly work out? This guy is swarmy!

6. I have never understood why this guy is famous. He made some silly vampire movie a million years ago and a million years before that he played Hank Williams. Now a million years later he is shelling potato chips! This guy is the male Paris Hilton of his generation!

7. I can think of others who would be better, but they wouldn't take the job! George Hamilton is a good pick in my opinion. He would be great. Most negative posts are from people to young to know who George is. They will be working during the day when the show is on. George is suave, sophisticated, and such a charmer-style ladies man. He has a nice energy for the show. Good luck George!

13. You have got to be kidding. I participated in a CBS focus group recently. We reviewed
George as the host of the show. He was terrible. He will not bring the energy or zest the show needs. Too bad, there are other talents out there that would be better.

15. The show should just end it's run. Who the heck can replace Bob Barker? He's an institution! Besides the fact that George Hamilton is completely creepy. We'll miss you Bob!
