CNN To Miles, Soledad -- Bye Bye O'Briens

GOOD RIDDANCE MILES! I could NEVER understand why they replaced sweet Araon Brown with this complete and utter MORON! He has like 2 hours in a cessna one prop plane and thinks he's the world's foremost aviation expert. He makes a FOOL out of himself whenvever there is an aviation-related story, and he turns my stomach on ALL occasions. I do feel bad for Soledad, but perhaps she was slacking at her job because she has so many kids now? Who know...just glad to see Miles gone..KEEP HIM OFF THE AIR COMPLETELY...he is appallingly nauseating.

I know Soledad O'Brien.

(I seriously DO know Soledad; not well, but I've met her 5+ times!)

Soledad O'Brien is the perfect morning anchor, but maybe she wanted to spend the mornings with her children. I guess I'll pop in on Robin Meade more.

I can't believe that CNN thinks that picking up Kiran Chetry will be a good idea & John Roberts is nothing to get excited over.

I enjoy watching Fox News, but Fox & Friends is just way too silly.

#78: You have to be kidding about Paula Zahn. I think Paula is one of the best news anchors on T.V., and she is gorgeous to boot.

As for Soledad, I hate she's leaving; I really liked her. She seemed real.

As for Miles, I was never too impressed with him--no charisma and boring.

John Roberts may be okay, but I will have to wait to see about Kiran Chetry. I've never seen or heard of her.

Every year, in every way, CNN loses credibility. Since Ted Turner sold it, CNN has gone downhill faster than the speed of light! The O'Briens were redundant. Disliked both of them.

FOX news is the one and oly fair news program!!! I have not watched CNN, MSNBC since the 2000 elections, they are too far left wing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Funny how Fox keeps getting people from the other two channels????????????????

Splendid vindication for BILL HEMMER, obviously Soledad pushed Bill out the door soon after she came on board with her bossy backstabbing ways, and Miles was eager to fill his old comrade Bill's still warm boots.

The whole scene was a disgrace and now Soledad and Miles have gotten exactly what they deserve, the boot. John Roberts is terrific, very smooth and likable...good luck to him.

Kiran's contract was up at FOX..she did not want to leave but probably wanted ALOT more money than Fox thought she was worth to them at this time...this is a step down for her, from FOX to CNN???? its too bad for her. CNN does not have the professionalism or clout as FOX does, and Bill Hemmer's career has taken off in leaps and bounds.
sometimes greed causes a change we don't expect, and not always in a good way. Good luck Kiran! enjoyed you on FOX, but won't be watching CNN for ANY reason. They are terrible and definately not "fair and balanced". Its sad to see CNN dropping to the bottom of the ratings, but they need to make major changes, and follow the FOX lead. Their people are boring and the whole programming is awful. MSNBC is diving too..too much of the same as CNN these days.

This is SO misleading. And TMZ is part of the same conglomerate, Time Warner, as CNN! Soledad and Miles haven't been fired. They are changing assignments. They are still both part of CNN. It has to be very difficult to go to work in the middle of the night! Periodically, they switch teams. They've done this before! And truthfully, Miles really likes to do stuff with science and technology.

The new woman appears to have an extremely bad nose job.

Working at CNN seems to be a very unhealthy and toxic environment. Too many folks trying to claw their way to the top and trample over each other, too many back stabbers.

CNN Management could probably take a lesson or two in 'people skills' form Fox or MSNBC, where the talent there seems to be treated with much more respect and it appears on the surface to be a much more collegial and supportive setting.

Just an observation........

Kiran Chetry is dry and boooooooooorrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnggg. She always has that, "500 people died in Bagdad today and an Amber Alert has been issued in Georgia" monotone.

I cannot believe they are hiring her over Soledad. I mean, Soledad had her annoying Couric moments, but at least she had a pulse. CNN just needs to revamp the morning show all together. It's a real snore and a downer.

Paula Zahn has turned into the "Race Relations" anchor.
MIles O'Brien needs to go fly one of those planes he always talks about.
Soledad O'Brien needs to go be with her gazillion kids.
Sanjay Gupta needs to go operate on somebody.
Jack Cafferty needs to be put out to pasture.
Wolf Blitzer needs lessons on voice inflections.

The only "fun" person at CNN is Robin Meade. She's the only one I will watch in the morning now. FOX News is the worst; you have to do your own fact checking after watching.

Kiran was on this morning with Miles. She was terrible! How can someone in the industry get Candy Crowley's name wrong twice in one segment?? I hope Roberts is going to pick up the slack, because Kiran seems like nothing more than a hot piece of ass.

Is Soledad and Miles married? Some say yes, and some say no! Does anyone really know?
