"Idol" Reject Is Trying to Screw the Show

Paris Bennett votes for Sanjaya Malakar -- and she hopes it'll take down "American Idol."

Last season's petite powerhouse phoned into the "Tone E Fly Morning Show" in Minneapolis today, and called "Idol" "a joke," and said she and a few other contestants are using the Web site VotefortheWorst.com to screw with the results.

"We want to see him [Sanjaya] win because it'll kind of prove that 'American Idol' is kind of losing its taste," says Bennett, "it kinda isn't going for talent anymore and more for popularity."

At least she isn't bitter.

18. I hate when the people that didn't win or the people that did win come back and put the show down just because their careers didn't get big. I love the show and the biggest reason I love it is because I can watch it with my kids and there aren't to many shows today that I can watch with my kids. Paris needs it get over it and stop ruining the show for the people who do still care about it.

19. It is a popularity contest and if Sanjaya wins then so be it. I think he should save his money and go back to school. The sad part is you probably wouldn't even buy his albums if he wins. I agree with the fact that if they have talent they will sell records even if they are not number one. You may be doing them a favor anyway. Like Chris D. he was able to do his own thing and not be under obligation to Idol it worked better for him. So what is to be will be. I'm sorry for you that you carry around this hard heart. LIghten up. I don't really care for Sanjaya voice but it is funny and to bad at his expense but he put himself out there and I hope he does make something from it. I also hope Gina cuts an album soon because I want to listen to her sing.

21. Paris was good in the beginning bu then she kinda faded in the end. Oh well...moving on.
As for Melinda being a professional, she only did some back-up singing just like Bradon Rogers who got botted off. And besides all that she's talented and hopefully America will get it right and vote her as the next AI. But I do have a feeling Shajaya (spelling) is going to win.

I am so disappointed in her...last year I know alot of people supported her for sometime...however..eventually she was voted off...She should be proud she got as far as she did and use the contacts she made to further her career...she now has the reputation as a poor looser and will do only harm to herself for such an inmature action...her Mother and Grandmother should straighten her out and remind her how to act like a young lady...not a dishonest person who is trying to hurt a very successful show and the hopes and dreams of some good singers who are getting voted off because some group is trying to ruin a show...think before you act Paris...you'll feel better about yourself if you do.....
