Rosie Bids Adieu to "The View"

There is a strong buzz in Hollywood that Rosie O'Donnell will announce Wednesday (April 25) that she is leaving "The View" -- and she'll make the announcement on the show.

If it happens, it's likely Rosie will stick it out through the end of the season.

TMZ has spoken with multiple industry people who say the word is spreading and the info emanated from inside the show itself.

Rosie's rep could not be reached for comment.

UPDATE: TMZ HAS CONFIRMED THAT ROSIE WILL ANNOUNCE ON TODAY'S SHOW THAT SHE WILL BE LEAVING "THE VIEW." LOG ON TO TMZ AT 11:15 AM EASTERN TIME, AND WE'LL HAVE A CLIP OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT.

51. I hope the rumor is true. I LOVED Rosie when she had her own show--- however ---now that she is on "The View " she is so loud & she trys to talk over everyone else that is speaking!!! She just gets louder & louder & nobody elses opinion matters to her but her own. The show actually gets on my nerves & I stopped watching!!! Take your rampage somewhere else Rosie!!!

54. I will not be mad if she has her own show. I don't have to watch. She is not the same Rosie. I thought when she was going to be on "The View" that it would make for fun tv. For me that did not happen. Sometimes I wonder if Bawbra just wanted ratings. Well she got them but not always the right class of ppl watching that Bawbra is use to.
