TMZ broke the story that Ty Pennington was arrested Saturday night for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. Pennington has just issued the following statement:
"I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."

Ty, a D.U.I. is hardly a horrible offence. What could have happened is something to think about. The experience is something to learn from.
A jail sentence, even a second offence, is "Not A Life Sentence" In fact the judge may even let you serve time on "weekends"
People forgive an honest man who acknowledges his mistakes, takes responsibility, accepts his debt and then moves on. Jump through the hoops Ty. We'll be here waiting for you to resume your good work.
People make mistakes. Bad things happen to good people sometimes. You'll be alright.

these people are rich... why don't they just hire a driver if they plan to drink.. they can afford it. you know if it was T. Pennington, bus driver, who got pulled over for DUI he wouldn't be getting the same treatment that we all know the stars get.
