FOX Reporter Takes Cheap Shot at the Hiltons

Click to return to TMZ.comFOX News correspondent Jonathan Hunt inexplicably brought Kathy and Rick Hilton's parenting skills into question during coverage of Paris Hilton's exit from jail early this morning. Low blow, no?

Hunt suggested that the Hiltons "might want to question" the way they raised their daughter. He also raised an unnecessary eyebrow about what Paris had planned for her first night of freedom, asking, "Is this a party which is going to see a lot of alcohol served? Is this Paris Hilton embarking down the same path that led her to jail in the first place?"

The better question might be, "Is this a cable news reporter talking out of his a**?"

2. I agree with the reporter. The parents have taught their children that they are abouve the law and that laws do not apply to them. Money is whatmakes things happen. The parents shouild sit down with their daughter and tell her to grow up and act like a resonsibe person, instead od a spoiled little rich bitch.

4. Paris doesn't care. As long as she's on TV she's thrilled.

Some people can differentiate between good press and bad press
but when you have no skills or talent, it's all the same.
She just wants attention.

5. Everyone has an opinion. But this is an uniformed one. "Journalists" have sunk to the bottom.....Used car dealers rejoice...

6. One of the first times I'll give credit to Faux News. Someone who has the balls to ask the real questions. Certainly won't be Larry King. He's a worldly whimp. Too bad her first interview wasn't faux news. Before the end of the interview she's be crying she wanted to go back to jail.

7. Truth hurts ah???? She is the result of very poor parenting....just listen to the mother screaming in court to the judge. Is she out of her mind?? Her daughter could have killed somebody (someone else's father, daughter, mother, etc.) and all she's got to do is blame someone else?? Her daughter not only violated the law but she ignored the system as if she is above the law by not attending traffic school...God forbid I did that. Then showed up at court half an hour late.....get real!!!!!

9. The better question to ask is why is TMZ kissing up to the Hiltons? This reporter asked questions that have been on everybodys mind.

10. She is too old for her parents to sit her down and try to fix her...its all up to her if she wants to change now.

11. He is very right to ask this question, her parents are just as bad as she is!

Kathy want to get her own reality show so she could sure use some "bad" publicity!!

And what's with the Paris love all of a sudden, TMZ??!?

14. Screw Foxnews and the reporter. They were not going ti her parents house for a damn party! It was for Paris Safety.

Besides the neighbors are not happy with the media or Paris so that is more then likely why she didn't go to her house.

15. Paris is definitely a product of bad parenting and having too much too young. I hope that she truly has learned her lesson during her confinement and that we'll see a new and improved Paris. Even if she hasn't changed maybe this will send a message to all the other privileged kids out there: do the crime, do the time. You're no better than the rest of us.
