Sanjaya Blows on the Road

The talent-free hairball that is Sanjaya is on the "American Idol" summer tour, and wouldn't you know it, he still can't sing a lick!

TMZ caught up with the vocally challenged Idol in Greenville, South Carolina where he successfully turned a cover of the classic "Life is a Highway" into road kill -- singing only a couple of the right words,running out of breath mid-performance, and resorting to the same head-shaking antics that previously made you want to throw your television out the nearest window. A little pitchy!

Chris Sligh joined Sanjy on stage, but looked like he didn't want anything to do with the singing part of the "performance" -- quietly playing his guitar on the opposite side of the stage while the lyric butchering commenced. While my guitar gently weeps!

1. I am curious, how old are the contributing writers of TMZ? With their attitude , simplistic view of things, unoriginal text, I imagine they must be kids from local high schools. TMZ your writers are pathetic, hopefully once the school year starts again and they get back to yearbook classs they can pick some new pointers on how to be a writer.

10. I think the writers on TMZ are pretty funny. Everyone's a critic, but that doesn't mean they'll do any better.
As for Sanjaya, can we move on and put him in obscurity with O-Town and Milli Vanilli? He's a joke obiously, and how he made it that far on AI, I will never know. He's dorky, with no talent, and no style. Actually he doesn't really have anything going for him other than being an akward string bean.

13. This is perfectly legitimate criticism, whether Sanjaya or the writer is 17. This guy is going to make serious $$$$ while true artists who can actually sing are struggling everywhere. If Sanjaya can't take the heat, don't audition for the #1 show in America.
