Lindsay Lohan is out of jail.

Law enforcement sources say Lohan was cooperative in jail. We're told she was very upset.

A law enforcement source at the Santa Monica jail tells TMZ "she did just about everything we asked."

So what didn't Lindsay do? She refused to submit to a PASD -- Preliminary Alcohol Screening Device. That's a chemical test administered in the field to determine blood alcohol levels.

We're told cops did administer a walk-the-line test, and Lindsay flunked.

there should be a one time limit for fame. Whether you be an actor a
sports person a regular kids on a high school team etc. You screw up
you're over and a more deserving person gets to be famous. There is
a resposibility that comes with fame that this current crop of losers
have failed to realize. If we want our children to grow to be better
people we need to show them better people. Let's face it she isn't
doing something that any other number of your people could do. She
had a chance and blew it. It happens to people all the time. Next.
Let's try something new and give all this camera time to those that
are "doing it right" I'll grant you it's not as interesting to read
and we all like watching that trainwreck but we owe it to our future
to quit glamorizing this stuff.
