Lawyer's Frantic Move to Save Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan and Blair Berk TMZ has learned that in the hours before Lindsay Lohan was busted for DUI, her lawyer knew she was in trouble and was desperately trying to find her.

Sources say last Sunday, just before midnight, mega-lawyer Blair Berk got an ominous signal. The signal came from the SCRAM device that Lindsay agreed to wear on her ankle. The device tests for alcohol use and sounds an alarm to a designated person when alcohol is detected. We've learned that Berk was the designee.

As soon as Berk learned there was a problem, she frantically tried to locate Lindsay. But time ran out before Berk could stop the runaway train wreck. Less than two hours after the SCRAM device signaled, Lindsay was in custody.

The warning signal could have been from many (24) hours prior.
TMZ continues to be a puppet for this lawyer and now we get her picture as if she is the Celebrity!

22. Riiight. So Lindsay had been testing clean ever since she got out of rehab, then all the sudden the thing went off and her BAC was between .12 and .13? She must've slammed quite a few drinks in those "less than two hours". Give me a break. I doubt she suddenly fell off the wagon out of nowhere and started doing shots. She was probably never clean to begin with, and I'd be surprised to hear that the ankle bracelet was ever hooked up in the first place.

Promises is a joke. I wonder if there's any way they could be held civilly liable in situations like this...i.e. if Britney or Lindsay had injured someone during one of their "outings" from the facility and was under the influence at the time. One thing's for sure...Lindsay is totally screwed. No way will she avoid jail completely.

Yes she has, "SHE ENTERTAINED MILLIONS OF US" through her drug use and alcohol consumption! I have not seen a good movie from her sense she was 12 come on.
This great actress stuff is way over rated. She should not be given any special treatment and shown what rock bottom looks like from a jail cell. Other wise someone else's child will be under her wheels one day soon. It's the only way she will wake up enough to want to get clean and even then I'm not so sure. Her denile, and lieing may be so much apart of her personnality she may never get it.
Notice her parents both have that first response also, Lie, blame others and denie.

25. Is it me or does it seem that everyone that has been bff's with paris hilton is melting down,getting into some real hot water or going into self distruction? Lohan is seems to be going down the same path of some other real good actors like robert downey jr and river phoenix just to name a couple.hope she can start helping herself before she completely self distructs.

26. As already stated, the SCRAM devise does NOT "sound an alarm"- you have to hook it up to a telephone line to send the information, like an at-home pregnancy monitor.

30. ... So, where was the GPS locator ... in her cell phone ... in the sensor ... switched on or off? If the atty got a signal ... it makes no sense that someone couldn't have intervened within 30 minutes. This is very upsetting, as a number of experts have been saying that Ms Lohan's chances of surviving her addiction are now much less than those of a patient surviving cancer. It says a lot about how very lucky we are to still have Drew Barrymore with us.
