Lawyer's Frantic Move to Save Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan and Blair Berk TMZ has learned that in the hours before Lindsay Lohan was busted for DUI, her lawyer knew she was in trouble and was desperately trying to find her.

Sources say last Sunday, just before midnight, mega-lawyer Blair Berk got an ominous signal. The signal came from the SCRAM device that Lindsay agreed to wear on her ankle. The device tests for alcohol use and sounds an alarm to a designated person when alcohol is detected. We've learned that Berk was the designee.

As soon as Berk learned there was a problem, she frantically tried to locate Lindsay. But time ran out before Berk could stop the runaway train wreck. Less than two hours after the SCRAM device signaled, Lindsay was in custody.

124. I do not know if Lindsay will ever read this but it is my hope that she does. What I want to say first and foremost is never in my 45 years on earth have I ever seen such a media uproar surrounding one actresses misbehavior. I have never seen so many media venues so concerned with a particular Hollywood actresses's downfalls as this girl, ever. Yes Britney has had her share of bad publicity and so has Nicole and Paris but every Hollywood actor so called "EX" addict finds it their mission in life to come out of the woodwork "NOW" and confess their past disgressions and chastise Lindsay's digressions today. Has any one of you tried to visit her in rehab and give her your "wealth of new found knowledge" on how to go the straight and narrow? I highly doubt it, but I do know that you found a way to get your mugs on the television to discredit her and make her feel even worse than she ever did before she went into rehab. You may have tried a better approach and confronted her personally as a friend and not talk about her all over tv and say how her career is probably done. Yes that will make her low self esteem so much better! What the hell are you people thinking? I hope to God that someone that has the intestinal fortitude to forego their own agendas and truly has this girls best welfare at heart step ups to the plate..........IN PRIVACY and gives her REAL guidance. I for one have been in her shoes and I know one thing for sure, the last thing that will help this girl is every one saying her career is done and pointing fingers like holyier than thou know it alls! If you knew it all you would know that putting her personal problems all over the television and pretending that you care about her is really not helping her at all. Reach out to her personally and let her know you REALLY care and do not have your own media agenda, it's not helpful to trash her when she is down!
