In an exclusive interview with Steppin Out's Chaunce Hayden, Debbie Harry revealed that although playboy thought she was fit to be a bunny, she wasn't thick enough to be a Playmate.

Back in the day, having a beautiful body meant having a little cushion for the pushin'. By today's standards, the young Debbie could've absolutely been a Playmate. Clearly, father time has paid a visit to the rocker. So chances are that Playboy isn't going to come a knockin'. Debbie has only one thing to say to Playboy, "You missed the boat."

2. Debbie Harry was my peer groups idea of beautiful. It was the 70's. Didn't everything go? Love Love Debbie Harry & Blondie!!!!!!! I'm 38. So I was just a tween, but we thought she was fantastic! She survived a pretty crazy time. Hooray for her! Playboy made a big mistake.

debbie harry was the one that Gwen Stefani and everone else has molded themselves after, and as a matter of fact, she WAS a Playboy Bunny back in the day - and she'll still kick the asses of all the young one-hit wonders out there now on stage.....i'm done with this trashy column.....

9. I saw her in concert 4 years ago and she was as good or better than when I saw her in 1983ish. So what if she put on weight. She is still one of the most beautiful women on earth. She inspired me to dress sexier and not hide behind clothing. Playboy would do well to feature her. At least she is all real. Did any of you wonder where she was all the years you didn't see/hear her? She was taking care of bandmate and former boyfriend, Chris Stein who was very ill for a long time. That makes her even more beautiful in my book.

10. i love her so so much! if debbie and blondie had been in the charts and had all that success today instead of the late 70's, she would have completely banished all the crappy paris and britneys to the back pages of the gossip magazines. she was absolutely beautiful, gracious and full of class. she proves you dont have to behave like a porn star to get attention. And the bonus is by acting classy you get respect and credibility to go with it not ridicule and humiliation.
